Police have taken over the NFF (Nigerian Football Federation) Office in Abuja. The issue arised after a court ruled on Thursday that NFF president, Amaju Pinnick, lost the September 2014 elections to Chris Giwa. FIFA says that Giwa's claim for the leadership of the NFF was denied last May. FIFA warns that should Pjnnick be removed as president, Nigeria will be suspended from all football activities including the World Cup. See Photos below

pinnick is not the outright winner.
The election that brought him in was conducted @ the Warri township stadium ( his state); which is against the electoral rule.
Things just don't seem right in this country.
Even 36 governors couldn't conduct a free and fair election.

Sigh....Can we get rid of all this Northerner-Southerner nonsense.....and for once realize that the law has to take its course.

The real problem is that NFF elections are not properly conducted....and as a result....we always have legal issues. Recall the whole mess a few years ago about the NPFL....and the LMC.

There is nothing about born to rule here. The NFF elections were not conducted well....so the case ended up in court.
