Anytime I read any news related to the Chibok girls' saga, cry they hungry me.. I pity the innocent girls, and the helpless parents..

Stop calling this kidnap a scam. It happened, there are evil men in this world, and everything in life is not about politics and such.

In my state in 2010...a young girl was kidnapped, ransom was paid, and the girl was killed....and her father got the dead body. I am a Southerner. I am telling you this to point out that evil exists.

Assuming it was from the girls...it is possible they are flashing their parent's numbers...and the parents called them back.

You know...something which millions of Nigerians do everyday...when they do not have credit.

So...no scam.

I really think many of you people commenting on this post should read it thoroughly first. You owe it to yourselves not to look as foolish as you have now.


@OP, unfortunately I think some of these parents may have fabricated this news to keep the news in the limelight,not that I blame them. I do believe the first man who reported it though, because his story was more concise and better rendered plus it didn't come in a cluster.

But Nigeria is a failed state, and if this government doesn't bring those girls home it is a failed government.

But to the Fati story... Jesus Christ that is so sad... I regret not being able to help, I am sorry those poor girls and boys were born in this country, and in this age. It is truly a shame on us all.

Most Gsm network providers do recycle 3months dormant lines and re-allocate them to new users. But I wonder how these girls went to classes with phones or where they kidnapped with school bags?

After all the torment, and hardship from those Boko rams, those little girls can still remember phone numbers after two years... Hmm, I can't even remember my phone number I changed 8 months ago after my fone was stolen...... Lies.

I am Southerner and an ardent supporter of PMB. Remember I said, "I may be forced" meaning I know it happened. But I don't believe those girls called their parents. Those lines may have been allocated to other people.

Again...they were kidnapped from a boarding school....so naturally some of them would have had phones.WAEC does not allow you bring your phones into the exam hall during the exam....note EXAM HALL. WAEC has nothing to say about your bedroom, or other parts of the school so long as it isn't the actual exam hall.

Also....they were kidnapped at night from their beds...so some of them would have had the presence of mind to grab their phones.

Again, as has been said earlier....many of the numbers might have been re-allocated since...so it may not be the girls calling.

What exactly is your point? Agreed all lines were registered after their kidnap. You and I know none of them would have that opportunity to register their original line, that's if they went with their phone in the first place. Because I know the boko haram boys would have seized every possession they had. As you rightly said that the phone lines may have been allocated to other people, how did those people know that the original owners of the lines are the chibok girls? How did they get the phone lines of their respective parents? How come the call came at the same time? How come the same response was received when the calls were returned? No sentiment, chibok kidnap was a scam!

They could have secreted the phones(possible, yes)....or the lines have been reallocated.

So they received calls from their missing children line.and went ahead to make it public, instead of to investigate.and posibly track them.they should keep on dashing their opurtunies of recovering the girls and later blame security agents
