You are correct about the funding by GOPAC AMERICA headed by Karl Rove and being funded by the Koch brothers. Sanders would have so much pressure on him that he would not run as an independent. The problem Republicons are having is that there is going to be a contested convention in Cleveland and if Trump is not the winner, he's threatening to run as a third party candidate. He won't run as an independent but it's scary for Hillary if Bernie runs as an independent because Hillary will need Bernie supporters. He said the same thing about not wanting to be the Speaker of the House and he made a U turn .
