A renowned traditional ruler of Umuofor Kingdom, Dr. Abdulfatah Chimaeze Emetumah, has lauded the greater proliferation of social infrastructures being put in place by the present administration in Osun State.

The monarch also applauded the State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola for meeting up with the masses’ expectation in the implementation of all his policies and programmes.

The traditional monarch gave the commendation during his three days solidarity visit to the Governor in Osogbo, the state capital.

The monarch who attributed the ongoing developments and transformation across the state to what he described as unusual commitment and passion of Governor Aregbesola.

He described the current administration as a round peg in the right hole, saying his movement around the state was a testimony to the achievements recorded by the present administration.

Dr. Chimaeze said his visit to the state was an eye-opener towards the giant strides of Aregbesola’s administration, calling on the mischief makers to stop feeding on propaganda.

The traditional ruler who expressed delight over what he described as a new dawn in the state, called on government at all levels to always prioritize the needs of the masses.

The monarch who charged politicians to always see government as responsibility and political will to serve the masses, saying Osun has proven its weights as a pacesetter in the annals of political history in the country.

According to him, “I am very happy to be in Osun because I have been dreaming to meet my brother- Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola even for a moment since all this while but today, I thank God that I am a living witness to all his economic drives passionately put in place.

“My visit to Osun is a clear manifestation towards the ongoing developments being brought about by the present administration.
“With this testimony, I am totally convinced by the extent of growth and development which the present government of Governor Aregbesola has brought.
” Base on this, I will like to implore our people to continuously extend their supports with the current government in its bid to turn around the state for the betterment of all.
” I am appealing to the residents of this state to bear with the present government especially at this period of economic hardship”, the monarch added.

The traditional ruler also appealed to Nigerians to embrace peace, love and unity in all they do, saying the time has come for all to form a united front in liberating the country.

In his remarks, the Governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola expressed his profound gratitude to the royal father whom he described as a man of unique integrity.
Governor Aregbesola who vowed not to deviate from the tracks of development, pledging that as far as he remains in power, his government would continuously bring smile to the faces of the citizenry.

He said, ” This is a moment of great joy in my life because I am meeting a highly respected and morally distinguished monarch in the Eastern part of the country.
“Apart from the fact that this royal father is a devoted muslim, he is also a notable muslim traditional ruler in the East whose wealth of experience can never be quantified.
“I am glad that he himself has testified to our performances in the last five years in office, and by the virtue of this, we promise to continuously build upon our development to facilitate general well being of our people.

Mutual hypocrites . . . That's what Aregbesola and the Imo monarch is. You mess, i hail you and when I mess u hail me in return so people from afar think the mess is some sort of God given fresh air.
When he builds infrastructure that needs recurrent maintenance (continous spending) and refuses to increase the states' IGR proportionately to match, then that amounts to putting undue pressure on the Federal government. If you must build school and roads, then seek to increase your IGR through, improvement of and investment in, industries. The guy is doing free feeding one second because there was excess crude fund and the next second he is making the Federal government look incompetent . . . In fact there should be a law that stipulates that all populist program by governors must be commesurate with the IGR level and not federal allocation.

What is good in Aregbe increasing recurrent bill that is serviced by another arm of government? He builds inrfrastructures but fails to build n support industries in same manner . That leaves alot of pressure on the FG's neck.
