EU PARLIAMENT MOVES MOTION AGAINST VIOLATION OF CITIZEN NNAMDI KANU'S RIGHT

The European Parliament have moved a motion,against breaches of democracy and the violation of human right of the Leader Of The Indigenous People Of Biafra and Biafrans at large,by the Nigeria Government.

Having putting into considerations of the concrete statements of various Human Right Organisations,World Leaders,Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon, etc,hence the call for the motion against Nigeria Government.

Some points that will be discussed in the European Parliament,includes;

-Nigerian Government to ensure the humane and fair treatment of prisoners, including detained British broadcaster Nnamdi Kanu, upholding international human rights norms, and to ensure access to a fair trial.

-December 3, 2015 agitations for a separate state of Biafra in the southeast led to the death of at least 12 people; whereas the violent responses of security forces to civil disturbances and protests in the southeast and northcentral Nigeria threatens to aggravate human rights challenges already caused by the lingering Boko Haram conflict in the northeast;

-Urges the Nigerian government to ensure the freedom of conscience and expression of its citizens throughout the country.

-The special investigation panel created by President's office in March 2016 to investigate of allegations of grave violations and abuses of human rights by security forces including killings, torture, enforced disappearances, have not been fulfilled and violence is dramatically escalating;

All this will be included and discussed in the agenda for the debate on the violation of the Human Right of the indigenous People Of Biafra and Citizen Nnamdi Kanu.

Guyman02, compujyde, RevDesm0ndJuju, three posters and few others I consider very knowledgeable in global affairs, neocolonialism, come and explain to us why the sudden shift of support for Buhari from the West. We are seeing more pro IPOB statements and criticism of the Buhari-led government lately from IMF, ICC, Amnesty International, US now EU, e.t.c., accusation of human rights abuses and violations, discovery of secret graves, unjust incarceration and silence of opponents, resurgence in missing Chibok Girls in the media and more. Lets hear your analysis, what do you think will be happening in the next few months?

[b]Kanu foolishly led himself into an avoidable problem. He is like a lamb cheered by goats(ipob youths) to take on a pack of hyenas(FG) grin Going by his sober and repentant looks in court recently, am sure he wish he could turn back the hands of time but its too late. He enjoyed the fraudulent fame while it lasted. He wanted to be a rebel leader. A rebel leader with no military background. Which sane rebel leader will go as far as soliciting for weapons on a recorded event? His mistakes are enormous and there are better ways he could have fought his battles without spreading hate and implicating himself. Kanu is just a butter boy overfed with the comfort of london and that pushed him to run his mouth like a tap on biafra radio. After seven months in jail, he is begining to look like a chicken in the rain and Am sure the Dss/kuje prison treatment is gradually restoring his brain to factory settings. Before the previous Biafra war, Ojukwu had a template of what biafra would look like and even presented his demands through the aburi accord in Ghana. He had military experience and a PlanB if the aburi accord was rejected. Despite this, Ojukwu regretted leading his people to a bloody massacre and has since called for a United Nigeria. Kanu's approach was to brainwash innocent youths, spread hate and bile and even instigate war on other non igbo tribes. No concrete reason why they want Biafra other than the Yorubas and Hausas hate us so we have to go. Comparing Kanu to Ojukwu is an insult in all ramifications. Kanu's predicament will never end soon. He will pay for all those hate speeches and instigating wars against peaceful Nigerians. Where are the bombs he threatened to use on Radio biafra? Where are the jet fighters? Where are Ipob soldiers he promised to unleash on the zoo? Pride goes before a fall. Kanu has fallen and all the igbo youths can do is protest. with time everyone will forget him in jail and move on with their lives. I hope uchemefor is learning from this before he finds himself in the same fate. grin

God bless Nigeria.

My brother everything happens in the fullness of time. What Nigeria is passing through isn't unexpected to enlightened minds. We warned about it and some people called us pacifists. When Buhari was shooting people with such reckless abandon, those cheering were his fellow nomads who do not understand the consequences of what their oga was doing. The reactions of the EU and USA are not unexpected, and don't ever SAY that it is because of the loan deal with China, after all Obassanjo signed a rail road deal of over $8 billion with the Chinese, though that didn't materialize, Jonathan also did a lot of business with the Chinese. Afterall, It was not EU or USA that asked/commanded buhari to shoot at innocent protesters.

My problem with some Zombies is that they blame everybody but Buhari, but thankfully no matter how much we try to deflect blame from buahri a time of reckoning is approaching fast. Don't ever think Nnamdi Kanu is stupid, some of us with some grain of brain, have been asking why is Nnamdi Kanu so bold in his countenance, now you have the answer!

TB Joshua warned about these things, some of us begged Buhari to have a rethink over his actions, but unfortunately we were talking to a statue. The coming weeks and months will be very interesting. BUT please, what I want to beg intelligent minds ( not zombies) is to always remember to place the blame accurately. Most people do not know that Jonathan saved Nigeria from disintegration by his selfless humility, yet we ridiculed him, now we have Saul in our midst who will out of arrogance and incompetence lead this country to doom. Well, like I will always beg - remember to place the blame rightly, don't blame anybody for your own mistakes.

What plan do you have for Biafra is Igbos stay back in united Nigeria? Non of course. What is the prospects of Nigeria as a Nation? Instead of outright rejection of Biafra why can't the FG take the bull by the horn and revert to true federalism with the six regions as the units.

In this present Nigeria there are too many labourers (qualified graduates/human resources), too many vine yards ready for harvest (material/ natural resources) but hunger is killing the house hold.

Let the SS manage their oil, and North their huge agriculture and solid minerals, SE trade and industry...and their will be healthy competition.

Don't know why U soo much hate to hear that Igbos want to be go, u call them so many derogatory names, while as U don't trust them enough to be part of U.

Its like if my gal frnd says she is tired on the relationship she want to face her future...I will say No, that she don't have a good reason to leave.

On the news of his arrest, Nnamdi Kanu. Considering the manner and ease I quickly deduced he could be playing a grand script. What most people fail to understand is that some battles are fought and won by just sitting idly with patience and time.

Nigeria is so porus that a ship a large vessel left without a trace with all the radar and some people thought or valiant secret knights caught the man during a sting op after Intel gathering?

The world is watching and so far Nigeria as a nation don't have a case or a moral standing to completely debunk the claims of the young man.

Unlike our senators, the EU Parliament is for the people. They are bound by duty and integrity to make stands in key issues as raised in their District. We've lots of Igbos there, Idomas, Niger Deltans people of worth in their society who indirectly have seen first hand the abuses going on in the country. Our economic situation is no longer news.

I expected this honestly, people don't campaign with the promises of good roads and infrastructure in the West anymore. They do so with polices, foreign and economic.

Let the debate begin!
