Nonsense!!! In as much as i hate what Nigeria political class have done and are still doing to this Nation-State, I think tinubu and other corrupt politicians should go down aswell if saraki should. There should be no selectivity in the fight against corruption and Buhari should respect court orders and release N. Kanu. Until this happen, Buhari has not sincerely started fighting corruption in Nigeria. |

What is this thinly veiled celebration of an indicted thief doing on the homepage? Is Nairaland celebrating bukola Saraki? Does someone think that this serious national issue is a Tonto Dike story? |

Is the OP alright? If you think Saraki is enjoying any bit of this, then you must be high on Afikpo weed. Step into Saraki's shoes and mind for 1hour and experience his feelings, embarrassment and shame, you will then know everything you wrote are mere fantasies that hold no water. |

It's quite unfortunate we are treating the saraki saga with levity, I hear agreements like others stole too why is it only him and my answer is the cure to madness starts from one pill, persecution or not the man is a thief who has robbed not this generation but that yet unborn we got weak social amenities in Kwara, yet our medical doctor govonor owns mansions all over the world, we care not to ask what for of business appart for government is he involved in. I weep for posterity, how long will we fail to create a future for her. |

anonimi:Please bros sheath ur sword, it's a discussion not a fight. Back to ur question, what happened in 2011 was a case of self destruction. By 2011, it was glaring that PDP was a house destined to crumble. Tinubu and Gbajabiamila just exploited the obvious crack in PDP. It will be foolish of the elders of APC to allow in their party what led to the death of PDP. But having said that, I totally agree with those who believe the PDP element in APC deserve to have the position of Senate presidency. But Saraki's should have fought for It as If it was a collective fight for PDP element, instead he fought it as an Individual cos of desperation. |

ridwanomooba:I totally agree with this. He has the North-South popularity and highest chance of being Nigeria's next president hence clipping his wings now is the duty of some that do not want that dream to be so. If the CCT finds him innocent his career would fly through the roof but if guilty it would be the fall of humpty dumpty. Let's be sincere the current media evidence is daunting and unless a joker card is played I am not sure of how he would scale through. |
| Re: The Good Side Of Saraki’s Cct Trial by mekonglobal(m): 9:31am On Apr 17, 2016 |
The only thing i hate about this whole thing is that of the senate trying to amend the constitution in order to favour Saraki's case..This must not stand..as they only amend where it favours them and not the citizens... This is where the Lagos- Calabar rail, many other unattended bills seeking urgent attentions comes to mind. |

Let's pedal less on politics and go full throttle on what is right. Ever other persons time will come but let's not for the sake of political correctness deny a man his time else the future will be timeless |

Collynzo888:Is this no longer about the INCOMPLETE assets declaration case at the CCT? Is Buhari not also GUILTY of the same offence? If we the citizens of this potentially great country are not 200 million hopeless mumus, should we not ask Buhari to come CLEAN with his own assets declaration ![]() Although that seems a tall order since he and his wife continue their bojuboju hide & seek CORRUPTION with her beauty book launch on the anniversary of the Chibok kidnap The donors could not declare the STOLEN money that they were giving her. Where is the TRANSPARENCY that they promised us? Maybe just another Promise & Fail example. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B-_or5ZUoAAqlz3.jpg www.nairaland.com/attachments/3131247_cu55se7vaaaykzj_jpeg8d3b0e22c761643e651e5d09f82d1552 |

[quote author=ridwanomooba post=44767706]1. In the last five months, the name ‘Saraki’ more than ever before has become a household name. The name is mentioned in a million times daily across Nigeria and beyond. However you view him, Saraki is the single most popular political figure in Nigeria today ahead of President Buhari and Olusegun Obasanjo #RESPECT 2. Newspapers can’t sell without putting Saraki’s name or face on their front pages or headlines. This is what the journalists call ‘free press’ whereby you get a mention on the front pages of Nigerian newspapers without paying a dime! #RESPECT 3. Saraki has cut a picture of a larger-than-life dogged fighter, one that is seemingly capable of taking on a war with the Lagos Mafia, and all the other Mafias, without blinking an eye! #RESPECT 4. Saraki has successfully helped Nigeria revive the hitherto comatose Code of Conduct Tribunal. So many people didn’t know that a Justice Danladi ever existed anywhere on the face of the planet until now. #RESPECT 5. In Nigeria today, on the streets, in the markets or in the taxis, either rightly or wrongly, Saraki is now viewed as a billionaire in the real sense of it, with some even saying he’s richer than Dangote. Can you beat that! #RESPECT NO MATTER HOW THEY TRY, OMO OLOYE IS ALWAYS ONTOP OF HIS GAMES. THIS TOO SHALL PASS! Absolute bullshit!! |
