They can conveniently afford it without external borrowings at ridiculous conditions & not mortgage their children's future like Buhari is doing.

China deal na loan o!

Don't get too excited.

It's China finding where their contractors will go get work and create employment for themselves.

Otherwise that entire sum can be sourced elsewhere

Naughtysite:
Chai APC.

One day, one lie.

Apart from the China deal, what has he gotten right ?

I can even pull up my comments and advices on this forum dated June 2015 advicing Mr President on taking a Chinese loan when he was still busy running around Obama and Cameron for selfies.

You are perfectly right.

Anybody can version out any so called "best policy".

1.5 trillion on Infrastructure is grossly too little for a country like nigeria that has no functional infrastructure.
It is not too little considering where we are coming from. coming from a country that use to use only 40% of that for infracstructure. The 1.5 trillion is huge in dat regard.

And the bogus & unrealistic plan of yours is silent on the $10 billion (N1.9 trillion) borrowing that will directly plunge Nigeria into the pre-2004 debt burden thereby increasing Nigeria's annual debt servicing by an additional 10% of our annual budget in the next 2yrs.

And at an alarming 12% inflation rate, most of the so called capital projects will be requiring an additional increamental borrowing to sustain or complete them.

Buhari is leading Nigeria straight into debt dungeon.
If the President decides to Borrow and build our infrastructure and diversify our economy in the absence of adequate revenue from our only source of foreign exchange, Oil, it is a welcomed initiative. A Nigeria with improved infrastructure, Good roads, Electricity supply, Transportation and other sources of Income like Agriculture, Mining, Manufacturing etc would function and pay back any loans borrowed.
There is absolutely nothing wrong in borrowing to build your nation and economy especially with men of integrity like Buhari and PYO in charge. (i would be concerned if it was GEJ borrowing)
America is presently in a $13 trillion debt with a booming economy and strong currency and practically zero inflation, Nigeria owes nothing with a tumbling economy.

Dont listen to some idiots like Fayose and the Wailers club talking about debt.

Even that little budget would not be implemented. Most projects would not be done.

You know nigerian "leaders".

Has it occurred to you that 20% of the N1.86 trillion borrowing is going to recurrent & that those debts are being serviced (not repayed) in geometric progression from your subsequent earnings as a nation.

American govt borrows from it's own treasury, they own the currency, so stop comparing yourself to them.

Buhari must think we are all stupid. How can someone lay out an economic policy but doesn't tell anyone how it will be achieved? That's like me saying I want to travel from Enugu to Lagos but I don't know if I'm going by land, air or sea.

As an Igbo guy, I already know that Buhari is a disaster just like every head of state whoever ruled Nigeria. I'm just happy that I did not vote for the gworo chewing dullard of Daura.
You are 5%. You are inconsequential. No one gives 2 figs about your vote. Igbo guy your pain has just begun

Joker. You don't know that if Buhari messes up, which he is already doing, it's all of us that will suffer it, wether you are 5% or 95%
