The only way to get the best out Nigeria is by restructuring. Our fundamental problem is federal allocation and crude oil money sharing. To keep records straight, I'm not from oil producing community so I may likely lose out on oil money if the sharing stops. But how can my state develop if it continues to be breastfed by federal government? No way! All regions in Nigeria need to be weaned from oil curse syndrome. There would have been massive and genuine agricultural and industrial revolution across mainly non oil producing regions. Government would have been more accountable, there would be no need to inflate census figures. Merits of restructuring cannot be emphasized. It will help everyone. We would not have felt the oil slump as much as we do now, unemployment rate would be low. The people I pity most are jobless youths from certain region of the country that support the "Commonwealth sharing". The truth is the shared money doesn't get to masses. It ends in the hands of their regions elite. That's why every meaningful nigerian would support restructuring. In the event Nigeria state fails to restructure, I fully support self determination movements through proper channels. For there's no equity in the system we are practicing presently, it's counterproductive. People are not happy, tension is high. Finally, I would advise Igbo self determination groups to separate themselves from so called Niger Deltans unless they willingly join the cause. Or else, you have another mini Nigeria loading. I strongly believe that Igbos are the only group that desperately want out of this Union and they will survive if successful! I hope for a better Nigeria not built in inequity, we are all Africans. But if we cannot make progress together, the most logical step is to go our separate ways. Peace! |

Why cant we have our own LAPD? LAGOS POLICE DEPARTMENT ![]() where Mr fashionista body bode, can equip them to the teeth, run city closure and response drills, ensure proper and efficient revenue generation through fines imposed on traffic offenders, raise the standards of wages to that of other professional disciplines-to ward off corruption... Why oh why, ooooh whyayaaaa, oh why![]() |

kYjelly2:that would one of the dividends of restructured Nigeria. You are are on the right track. Benue citizens wouldn't have been massacred! Rogue fulani heardsmen wouldn't have been roaming Benue state with unlicensed weapons. If they want ranches, they would ask nicely and pay for it!!! And also protected as resourceful law abiding citizens. |
