It says "Second Class, Upper Division, or 4 on a 5-point scale."
That's contradictory, this is simple logic, if it's just a second class upper requested, why would they talk about CGPA of 4.5/5 scale? It definitely means they barely accept a weak 2" 1

I thought as much too. There was no need for them to add the 4.0/5.0 criteria to the statement if all they needed is someone with a 2.1 after all, we all know that virtually all unis grade their 2.1 between 3.5- 4.49 CGPA. I stand to be corrected.

Good morning people,
@ Khalesi, Team12 and any other person who has applied for study permit with a child/ minor

1. Did your child have to do medicals? (I intend on doing upfront)

2. Even as you declared your spouse wasn't joining you, did you apply for a visitor's visa for him with your application or afterwards?

3. If the answer to 2 above is NO, did he have to do a police report and medicals?

4. The spreadsheet of estimated expenses (which I am contemplating drawing up to show how my children will be catered for) was it a part of your SOP or a separate document?

I would appreciate a response from anyone who is knowledgeable on how this works.
Thanks and have a splendid weekend.

Please I still await the opinion of anybody knowledgable of how this works.

Go to google.. Type smallpdf.com. When you open it, you'll see a place where you'll be asked to paste the pdf files you want to merge. And you can also arrange them the way you want. But before then make sure all your files are on the system already

If the family are capable enough..
They can apply all of them at once.. But if they cash strength is just OK.. He can apply study for himself and the wife will come under SOWP afterwards.

When is she expecting the baby?
Early stage or few months left?

It's better to go under SOWP than visitors visa.. So that she will be able to work..

Good luck!

I do understand you have every reason to worry but please refrain from posting with words all in capitals. It's a bit rude and it's considered *let me invent this word* e-yelling smiley

Hoping you hear back from CIC soon.

You will be in the church praising God if you know what its like to live here as a foreigner grin. Though there a good number of foreigners, especially those with no qualification from home, who are contented with the conditions here. They mostly entered Denmark from neighboring European countries.

Would you suggest I get the APEGGA certification? Since I will be meeting potential employers at the conference, and there are usually boards made available for jobseekers to display their CVs.

princey83:

wow. what an exposure. I almost applied for the Danish green card some years ago when I completed my masters in the UK.
Canada is not that bad at all then, since English is the language of communication here, and immigrants still get good jobs.
no. you don't need APEGGA to complete your express entry application. you only need it to practice in the province of Alberta. Just giving you an heads up. With your MSC qualification and with good ielts score, express entry should be a walk in the park for you.

Relax or mail the department. You sure get a positive reply by God's grace.

Thanks for your response. What program did you apply for?

Hello house, our family friend have agreed to be my sponsor. Please aside his bank statement what other documents would I need from him? Is it necessary also to have a certain amount of money in my own account. My problem is am working but I spend all my money on my family since my dad is dead.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by TheBae: 6:25pm On Apr 18, 2016
It's contradictory but it's there.
Keyword - "barely"
It's not impossible. Many schools wont accept a weak 2:1 without SOP and references anyway.

See the way you hoping for full scholarship like they pick it on the ground. Concentrate on getting admitted first. You 5.1 is barely 72% most supervisors prefer candidates with 75% and above for funding.
Google will help you no one can make research for you.
