Can the battle against the deadly insurgents get any tougher? A REVA Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) belonging to Nigerian soldiers -was hit by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) during clearance operation in the northern part of the country as depicted in the pictures. None of the soldiers were hurt in the incident. May God continue to protect these gallant men....

We shall overcome. When there's a will there's a way. Just two years ago pictures surfaced of how poorly the soldiers were treated, today it is a different story entirely. Again I say, "We shall overcome" despite the obstacles the falling boko haram places on the way

These recent recruits into the Army are some sort of freaks. For Pete's sake, how's this news? undecided undecided

You were hit by an Armoured Personnel Carrier (whatever that means) but no casualty. Yet, you still find it 'entertertaining' enough to snap pix which you're uploading here? With this kind of 'Amateurish' attitude, I now understand why Boko-haram took this long to conquer. Fvcking attention seekers!

Meanwhile, any good samaritan here can help me with this puzzle;

Good morning house,

Please ehn, I'm making this enquiry on behalf of someone. She graduated from OAU, and had since collected her certificate. She was as well mobilised for this upcoming youth service. But the problem is that this person in question doesn't have a valid means of identification;

-She had submitted her OAU I.D card in the course of collecting her certificate.
-She didn't have voters card nor did she have a National I.D card.
-Drivers licence and international passport, she doesn't posses any.

Now, my question is that what other means of identification can this person in question tender in camp so as not be barred from entering?

Awaiting your prompt response.

Are the bush-burning zombie soldiers now afraid to show their faces

The explosion really sent fear and shivers down their marrow hence the lagbaja method while posing for pictures

That soldier standing their and smiling should thank the likes of Beegeagles Blog etc who mounted pressure on the Govt to consider replacing Thin Skinned Toyota Hilux trucks with APCS and LAVs for troop transport (like the Reva in the pix). If not, you wudda been blown to blasés in ya Toyota Hilux like so many of ya colleagues in d early years of the insurgency.
Kudos to the SAs for selling us these livesavers.

Meanwhile, I don like d Black Sweatshirt Kit adopted by the SF Battalion...Black Absorbs Heat, Doesnt look good with Dust, Retains Sweat(most of the fabric I've seen them wear aren't pure cotton), doesnt camouflage well in the desert terrain of the NE, etc.... the military did well in inaugurating a new desert Camo for our Boys, Flak Jackets for all front line troops, Weapons Standardisation, etc...but this black, abeg! Make Dem live am for SSS and Police biko...I saw one clean Brown T-Shirt wearing Soldier in one of their Pics one day...wonder which ppl dey wear am...QRF, NNSBS, DSS, I no know...but e fine.
Long live the Nigerian Military.
