Hello house, i just want to make this simple, i am a rookie sort of in the job hunting field, i have always done my own businesses though i have been applying randomly, just today i got a call from Etisalat and i got a mail congratulating me on my passing the 1st stage of the recruitment process, the second stage is a personality test which would last for 15 minutes,please anyone that has been on the same road should tell me what to expect before i open this 15 minutes link.Mods biko help a job seeker....thanks.

Just like they said, its personality test. It is meant to test how well you communicate, your judgement of situations, interpersonal skills etc. The secret is - CHOOSE THE OPTIONS THAT SOUND INTERESTING EVEN IF IT DOESN'T DESCRIBE YOU. If you make it through this stage, you'll be invited for a computer based test and it is basically to test you listening and typing skills and be sure that you actually understand the language option you chose for those that didn't choose english, and finally test you ability to multi-task.

So dont bother yourself so much and i wish you the best.

1. U will be given on screen words to type. Type as fast as u can and do not delete any error that u make cos it will reduce ur accuracy
2.Call simulation. U will listen to a call btw a customer and a customer care agent. Listen attentively for the details of the customer esp the name and adress and the complaint
3. The last is a scenario of which you would be asked a question and then type your likely solution to it.

Just got a surprise call from this people, I did not even know they will call me or should I say I was not expecting the call.

Anyways, she asked my how often do I use Facebook and I told her not much, just once in a while to check my news feed and stuff.

I see no reason why a new etisalat thread should be running. Of course i actually don't blame d OP that did that cuz a lot folks down at the old thread make it impossible to get info asking new peeps to read over a 100pages just to get acquainted or get a basic answer attended to. Now i can see some nairalanders on the new thread tryna direct people to the old thread for info which could have been avoided. Same way some peeps come on a thread and change the whole topic to something totally different and get peeps lost in transition. Be your brothers keeper not because its convenient for you but because its the right thing to do when you have the means.
