as GMD NNPC,
replacement named.

Dr. Ibe Kachikwu
has reportedly been
replaced as GMD of the
Nigerian National
Petroleum Corporation
(NNPC), according to The
Godfather, who is close to
the presidency.
He was replaced by
Maikanti Baru.
Kachikwu retains his seat
as the minister of state for
Petroleum resources.

The story is fake and malicious. I think the Minister shouldn't double as the GMD and minister, but it would be pure folly to pass on rumors

This is long overdue. Since the day kachucku was made minister I knew he's going to be replaced as gmd nnpc. The load was too much for him to carry most especially at this critical time
