When will they resume payment? What about the banks who gave out these loans? Do they have any thoughts for them? What about the investors who invested in these states' bonds? How will the states cope with judgement penalty for the defaults in the event that the investors' successful lawsuits? What message is Buhari sending out? How can you unilaterally make Nigerian states to default on their obligations? Does that mean the federal government's capacity to enforce the ISPOs has been taken off? Would the federal government itself come up one day to default on its obligations? |

They should also probe the contracts/projects financed with those loans. Most of those projects are scams perpetrated by the state governors. Let the contractors come forward with proof of execution and also go to court when they don't get paid anymore. |
