I wish to purchase a Nigerian used car on NL but am a little afraid of some Adverts you see. How can I identify a stolen car or catch on to some of the scams some "dealers" play.

Experienced people in the house, kindly share your experience and advice on how to avoid falling into such sticky situations.

Its simple .... If u ain't greedy,there's a large possibility DAT u can't get scammed...unless u r confirmed mumu or u somehow u got hypnotized..meaning...if EOD is sold for say 1.3 to 1.6m...and u see advert saying..."tokunbo EOD for 750..u need to do d maths sharpally that unless the seller didn't pay for custom duties and shipping charges,tokunbo EOD can't fly for 750...U need to relate this to used cars as well...sometimes used cars can go any price depending on the seller...but all in all..u need to study the price of cars in d market and think of how much u would sell if u were in DAT shoe..if i purchased a 2007 Camry for say 2.2million...if I wanna resell after say 2or 3 yrs with no problem at all I can't go less Dan 1.6M...but if I'm not first user its possible I'll sell around 1.4 or 1.2M.....d idea is don't be greedy u might get a lemon...
don't pay half into anybody's bank account number with the promise to deliver...
Look for a close by dealer around u..waka go there yaself..see the car..if u have mechanic at ur disposal..by almeans carry one follow u.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying some good dealers are not around, I've heard good stories about elanshiautos and cityhood. But u can't be too sure.

Runaway from anyone DAT says he's custom officer ..and DAT venza is gonna be sold for 1M...like I said na greed go wan make u pay 1M for that kind fine car...
