Comedian Emeka Smith shocked Nigerians earlier on today when he announced on his Facebook page that a wedding he was supposed to compere today suddenly got cancelled by the groom. He, DJ Spinall, and singer Adekunle Gold had all been paid in full only for the news to be delivered.

Turns out Emeka's story is false cos the wedding actually held today with DJ Spinall and Adekunle Gold in attendance. DJ Spinall even shared on his IG that Emeka was lying. See pics of the couple Adeola and Ayodeji enjoying their big day below.

There are three things involved

1. It's either Emeka was never paid as he claimed and someone else was chosen to replace him without his knowledge
2. they just told him the wedding was cancelled so he can refund their money
3.he was paid for this publicity

Hmm..i seriously doubt Emeka would have made that statement if something hadn't gone awry. That joke was way too expensive. Something must have happened. We just don't know the full story
