am a 24 year old female diagnosed with pid. ive been on med ciprofloxacin doxycycline and flagyl for 3 weeks and recently been feeling nauseous. my doctor initially asked me to take dem for 3months then recently he said i should stop.
please am confused on how to take the med correctly. i was diagnosed with salpingitis and hydrosalpinx chronic pid

U still need to consult ur Dr. Cos doses n regimen of medication could b varied depending on d severity of ur disease. However, normal doses n regimen are: cipro(500mg) twice daily, doxycyline(50mg) four times daily, n flagyl(200mg) two tablets three times daily. I'm a pharmacist n as i said earlier, revisit ur Doc cos i don't knw d severity of ur disease.

i no longer trust the doctor. am married and was pregnant February. i got the diagnose of pid when i went for scan. and was advised to terminate the preg. to treat the pid as taking med while preg isnt ideal

Then consult another Doc for a better diagnosis. Or c a pharmacist 4 advice. I can't advice u without seeing u.
