Okay I av the picture of the same helo evacuating wounded soldiers, but not in these colour. I think it was just repainted. A Lot of undocumented hardware surfaces these days.

Here is a MOWAG APC being hit by I.E.D ; the 4 soul in it died instantly and it was not a powerfull/strong I.E.D and it's %100 out of service unlike the REVA APC : occupants are only inflicted with minor injuries and sometimes without a single scratch. And guess what, they can be fixed and back into service.

Most damaged REVA APC av seing are being towed and taken to bauchi for re-fixing.

how many time have we seen captured tanks in syria and rarely technical pickup's,insurgents are not stupid they will let you TAKE,CLEAR,HOLD,BUILD .then they will isolate you by targeting you patrols,supply line(IED's,ambushes,sniping e.t.c) and then when they know your weak overran your newly established base .after overrunning you,they will have plenty of 120/125mm tank rounds to use as road side bombs

when you get reports of boko haram having attacked a village are you going to rush there ,with your tanks as you said speed is irrelevant in COIN !

If boko-haram attacks a village you deploy your QRF elements - heli-born or light vehicle. Why would you have tanks in your QRF elements

canadian did deploy their C2/1A5 Tanks but the post praised in afghan COIN war was the french AMX 10 RC,with its 105mm gun which could knock down compound walls where the taliban were hiding and it being a wheeled vehicle thus and light armour was able to keep up with other APC's,IFV e.t.c

Because most you watch the alshabaab el adde propaganda attack video,there was clip of a road side bomb attack of an APC ,showing it flung in the air.can any one tell me the type of APC it was ?

But there is these other picture I have in my achive where wounded troops are being evacuated inside, I don't remember what I use to save the picture and it could be so tedious looking for a single picture in a folder where there is thousands of pics.

.... naa because you they see both side by side. Immediately I saw the picture I remember I av something like that in my archive. But there is these one am still looking for where wounded soldiers r being evacuated it looks muck like the helo there, but not in the desert CAMO. Once I find t I'll post it.
