Minemrys:That's what they call hearsay in court, the real fact is that Marvel launched their cinematic universe and after its success, DC launched theirs. Nobody cares if they were thinking about it, the main ish is that they didn't have the balls to do it but marvel took the risk and 4 years after their successful cinematic universe movies, DC decided to follow suit. 1 Like |

seribroo56:Don't jump into discussions you know nothing about. We are talking about who first launched their cinematic universe. |

parrotibaba:dude the fact's there. Hearsays are rum0urs. When 0ne goes into deep pre producti0n and prepares 4 sho0ting isn't hearsay. WB were n0nchallant about it cos they had other franchise then. But n0w they d0n't. And i could say after n0lan's tdk WB could see c0mic b0ok films could be taken seriously. |
Re: DC EXTENDED UNIVERSE (FILM) by parrotibaba(m): 8:46am On Apr 26, 2016 |
Minemrys:let's not drag this any further. The fact remains that Marvel first launched their cinematic universe 4 years before DC who launched their own after the hugely successful avengers movie. Now that's what we call waiting for someone to test untested waters and after seeing his success, decides to follow suit. "I think I saw John kill his mother" and "I saw John kill his mother" ain't the same thing. There's a big difference between thinking about something and doing it. Take it or leave it. 1 Like |

Re: DC EXTENDED UNIVERSE (FILM) by parrotibaba(m): 7:03pm On Apr 26, 2016 |
seribroo56:No it's useless arguing with you instead. Who is talking about comics and cartoons here? Why can't Nigerians mind their f'cking business for once or at least try to get the gist of a matter before poking their itchy nose in it? Is that hard to ask for? Me and Minemrys were talking about who first launched their cinematic universe between marvel and DC and this S.O.B just jumps in and start talking about comics and cartoon. Mind your damn business man. |

You guys are here arguing instead of us to come together and call for the sack of Zack Snyder. Zack Snyder should be Sacked! Folks won't realize it now until Justice League under performs at the box office especially Minemrys and Tonyspike who like defending him no matter what. |

Re: DC EXTENDED UNIVERSE (FILM) by TonySpike: 7:24pm On Apr 27, 2016 |
Raalsalghul:Lol...honestly, Justice league has already started shooting in London since April 11th. It would amount to financial hara-kiri for Warner Bros to sack Snyder now. What would you rather have Warner Bro do instead? |
Re: DC EXTENDED UNIVERSE (FILM) by Raalsalghul: 11:35pm On Apr 27, 2016 |
TonySpike:What would I have Warner Bros do? Well, for one, postpone or delay the production of Justice League. After that, sack Zack Snyder and make sure he doesn't get within 100 yards of any D.C comics property. Finally, they should try as much as possible to make sure that upcoming films like Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman are critically acclaimed to wins fans over and make them forget the dud that was Batman V Superman: Dawn of poor editing and second rate CGI. After doing all this, they can start with the production of Justice League. |

Back in February, the Motion Picture Association of America issued an R rating for an Ultimate Edition of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which will debut on Blu-ray and DVD later this year. While we don't know exactly what will be included on this Ultimate Edition, director Zack Snyder recently teased that the R-rated cut will be a half-hour longer than the theatrical cut of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Today that runtime was confirmed by a Swedish home video listing, which reveals the runtime is 181 minutes, exactly 30 minutes longer than the theatrical runtime of 151 minutes, along with 120 minutes of bonus features. The director teased last month that he is putting back scenes that he was forced to cut so the film would get a PG-13 rating. He also revealed that there is no nudity, just more violence that "tipped the scales" from an R rating to PG-13. The filmmaker stated that scenes featuring Green Bay Packers running back Ahman Green and iconic bodybuilder guru C.T. Fletcher will be included in the director's cut, along with Jena Malone's scenes, who has long been rumored to be playing Barbara Gordon, a.k.a. Batgirl. Though Cdon.COm was able to provide the runtime and length of special features, no further details were given about what will be included in the two hours of bonus material. Earlier this month, another rumor surfaced that Warner Bros. may be considering releasing the R-rated cut theatrically, at some point later this year. It was believed that the studio may be trying to squeeze even more money out of the Dawn of Justice theatrical release, which has currently earned $320.4 million domestically and $530 million internationally for a worldwide tally of $854.4 million. That worldwide gross is the second highest tally this year, behind the $909.6 million worldwide take of Zootopia. Zack Snyder also teased that the extended cut will feature more footage from the Batman warehouse rescue, along with more shots of Doomsday that were "too intense." There will also be extended opening and ending sequences of the movie, and the North Africa sequence is said to be, "really much different." Unfortunately, we don't know when this Ultimate Edtion will be released on Blu-ray and DVD, or when Warner Bros. may release it in theaters. http://movieweb.com/batman-v-superman-ultimate-r-rated-edition-runtime/ |

New Wonder Woman set photos suggest that Gal Gadot could be headed to Gotham in her new movie. The actress was photographed filming a scene on Tuesday at a museum in Paris, France. Fans noticed that there’s a truck in the scene that appears to have a Wayne Enterprises logo on it. Unfortunately the photo which appeared on a paparazzi website is extremely tiny, but it certainly does look like it could be the Wayne Enterprises logo that we saw in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. If Wonder Woman does take a trip to Gotham, could we be getting a Ben Affleck cameo as Bruce Wayne or Batman too? http://batman-news.com/2016/04/28/wonder-woman-gotham/#page |

Guys, I heard that Wonder woman movie will end just after the doomsday fight in BvS. It will be the connecting movie between BvS and Justice League: Part 1 |

Shittaakeem:Though I am not an MCU fan boy, but tell them bro so they can realize how Zack Snyder is ruining the DCEU. Use a loudspeaker please. Blow the resounding success of CA: CW into their ears so they'll stop defending Hack Snyder and acknowledge the success that Batman V Superman: Dawn of poor editing and second rate CGI could have been without that hack. Preach! |

Yeah, Wayne enterprises is featuring in Wonder woman. Bruce Wayne is definitely the boss! I wonder what this story arc is all about though?

Re: DC EXTENDED UNIVERSE (FILM) by TonySpike: 3:16pm On Apr 29, 2016 |
Raalsalghul: Sorry, I didn't respond to your comments earlier. I think a lot of creative changes will occur in the DCEU between now and when Justice League: Part I officially concludes shooting. But I personally don't think the sacking of Zack Snyder will be among these changes. Zack Snyder was given the vision to kickstart the DCEU and he is well-respected by them. Besides, the worst that could happen he is given a co-director to help him direct Justice League: Part I, believe me. As for the problems with BvS, I strongly believed that the choppy editing happened because: (1) Conditions given by MPAA to remove some important scenes because they were too graphic (2) The unwillingness of Warner Bros to allow a three-hour movie into the cinemas That said, I strongly think the script of that movie was too long with many plot holes. The original story written by Goyer must have been very bad and that was what Terrio had to work upon. As for the CGI artists, I don't know who hired them but definitely Warner Bros had a say in choosing their VFX contractors. You see, a lot of people are involved in big budget movies like this. It's a massive film industry with specialization. Can I blame Snyder? Well to an extent, yes! Should he take the whole blame? No! Did Snyder play his part well? I'd rate him 7.5/10 on BvS Was the script badly written? Yes Should Snyder be sacked? No Should Snyder be helped? Yes That's my take. I'll leave you with a graphic on film-making to make you understand the whole bottlenecks involved. |

Shittaakeem: A critic thinks otherwise though. I think you should read what this guy from Mirror UK had to say about CW. "Chris Evans and the rest of the Avengers gang are back but the plot is more complicated than interesting, and the movie lacks joy and excitement" http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-previews/captain-americas-latest-outing-thudding-7849892 and this critic too: "I never found myself genuinely wondering what was going to happen next; the moves are too familiar. Even the big fight, entertaining as it is, feels like it's there not because of dramatic inevitability, but because somebody behind a desk decided it had to be. It's just a bunch of stuff" http://www.villagevoice.com/film/captain-america-civil-war-is-comic-book-cinema-without-the-wonder-8564845 More reviews are now coming in and the ratings for CW are already dropping. Now 81% on Metacritic and 93% on Rotten Tomatoes. It can't be as bad as BvS though. |
