asuustrike2009:the bitter truth is that if your hero had continued, he won't have been able to cope with the fallen prices of crude oil, cos he didn't have the political will to save according to his coordinating minister of the economy. Pls stop spreading lies and using the present economic hardship caused by no one to justify GEJ's rule, its ridiculous |

Remita, 50% of 1% of 3trillion= N15 billion Naira!!! erm, err, sir, we have software too and we'll charge 1% of whatever Remita is charging. But, is Remita getting paid for this first round of mop up? |

I agree. Service providers deserve to be paid. What the CBN can do is to renegotiate and beat down the transaction fee to say 0.2% because of the volume of transaction involved. And it should be capped too like POS and other e-payment charges. The CBN can go further by investing in the R&D to develop their own software in-house so as to take out remita's cut. I don't know if that'd make any economic sense though. |

989900B:It is intellectual property. You can't quantify it like that. If it were easy CBN would have built it's own software... They should beat down the transaction fee rather than stop it all together. |

seunajia:Of course, that was on a light mode. I guess beating the percentage down was discussed at the NASS some time ago . . . 0.5% is huge in trillions -- there should be a cap or something . . . it's skewed sorta. |

Goke7:Pray tell, How much did the governors of the political party you support, save? I sincerely hope they're not among those begging for a bailout? Cos that would make you a hypocrite living in a fool's paradise. And if you've not publicly queried them for their incompetence in the face of eca extra-budgetary allowences, then you're also a coward. Well? |

Goke7:That's one thing I dislike without apc supporters. Anybody criticizing this government is GEJ supporter. I criticised GEJ too and also supported him because he was the best unlike PMB that took half year to select angels which turn out to be deceivers. GEJ would have done better in solving the economic problem without causing hardship on Nigerians. He is one of those presidents that takes responsiblity for his actions either positive or negative unlike PMB that is a tyrant in his decisions and when criticised, he results to black mail via the mass media. His party is an hypocritical party I have ever seen in my life. |
