So I sample opinions of three (3) different ladies from three (3) different towns or states in the North about marriage and wedding events, to my greatest surprise all they said is that they will not agree to get married without wedding events . So I now asked them this question which is more important to them, The marriage or Wedding Events?

They all kept mute. OK stay and go for wedding events when you reach 30 years of age at home.
Then, we will start offering you to our Grand daddies because they still rock for me.

Which is more important Wedding event or Marriage?

I personally don't care abt wedding event...I have no plans to feed the whole village to celebrate with me..


I prefer a simple yet solemn wedding... more important to me is my future with my husband..instead spending the money in a lavish wedding, why not save it for the future of our kids?

Its an individual preference for these things!

There's no basis for comparison in my opinion. You shouldn't or rather cant get married without a ceremony of some sort. And this is a worldwide culture. The size of the ceremony is now an entirely different thing. Yes ideally you shouldn't strain your finances to host any ceremony but to each his own. For a couple that can afford it and want the whole village at their party its their choice and business. If you and your partner want only a parlor gathering and it suits your budget then so be it too!

Please, where is it written in the constitution of the world that you "can't and shouldn't" get married without ceremony? People have gotten married without ceremonies.

Its not in any constitution as far as I know. But the mere formalising of a union and signing documents is a ceremony in itself and that's my point. I'm not referring to a party!
