A 16-year-old girl delivered a bouncing baby boy on a bus while traveling from Eldoret to Cherengani to meet her mother The passengers assisted the girl in the delivery, donated clothes to her and made sure that she got home safe and sound. The Kenyan bus crew have been lauded on social media after helping the 16-year-old girl deliver safely while on transit. Here is the photograph of the mother. The girl who was experiencing her labour pains was on her way to see her mother when nature took its own course. The baby, probably too excited to join the world, decided to come earlier than she had expected. Passengers on the Eldoret- Cherengani plying the bus had to stop for a while as the woman gave birth on a roadside.

The driver of the bus, a lady, was assisted by her conductor and female passengers to ensure that the delivery was a success. One of the happy endings of the story was when the passenger donated clothes, shawls and money to the new mother.

The bouncing baby body was swathed in shawls as the bus crew and the passengers went the rest of the way with the girl to reunite with her mother. Kenyans on social media lauded the the bus crew for their swift response and their show of kindness.
