Typical yoruba. You know them by the use of the word "Southerners" to apportion blame to everyone in the South...yet them yoruba are the problem; the same cancer betraying the South. Hypocrite...get away from my sight!

Supported, very hopeless people! I love the way SE/SS is counting them out. How I wish ICC will kuku complete their investigations and start prosecution immediately so we can resume our protests and this time we will be more prominent. Having grounded our protests, it seems that the Biafran mass movement is not longer on board, but with the resumption of our protests we will be able to bring the movement back to live.

So i shouldn't talk about the entire South but SS and SE only. You this Ogoniman are really very funny. What was Wike doing today in Ekiti if you think its only about SS and SE. You need a united south to ensure grogress is made against herdmen. Don't let Igbos misguide you.

Well, lemme restate categorically that Ikwerres are not a part of whatever alliance either real or Imagined with Igbo elements until we address squarely the fallouts of the Biafran war. Tanx.

My dear, I am an Ikwerre man. I understand where you are coming from. You echo the views of the older generation of ikwerres but the younger generation of Ikwerres (like myself) have decided to forge ahead in unison with the igbos. We will not make the mistake of the past; every tribe has its shortcomings. I welcome you to forget the past and move along. I must also remind you that the younger generations hold the ace, and they have decided to move forward. We are better off with the igbos and they see us as their brothers.

Yes, I spend so much time with older generation Ikwerres, so its part and parcel of me. And FYI, i know alot of younger generation Ikwerres (i roll with them) who are very cautios of Igbos, who want nothing with Biafra and are very grounded in history as per Ikwerre/Igbo relations during the Biafra civil war. You dont even dare persuade us. Its that good, and we like it that way.

Excerpts from Wikipedia:

The Niger Delta, as now defined officially by the Nigerian government, extends over about 70,000 km2 (27,000 sq mi) and makes up 7.5% of Nigeria's land mass. Historically and cartographically, it consists of present-day Bayelsa, Delta, and Rivers States. In 2000, however, Obasanjo's regime included Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Cross River State, Edo, Imo and Ondo States in the region. Some 31 million people[2] of more than 40 ethnic groups including the Bini, Efik, Esan, Ibibio, Igbo, Annang, Oron, Ijaw, Itsekiri, Yoruba, Isoko, Urhobo, Ukwuani, Kalabari and Ogoni, are among the inhabitants of the political Niger Delta, speaking about 250 different dialects.

The Niger Delta, and the "South South Zone", which includes Akwa Ibom State, Bayelsa State, Cross River State, Delta State, Edo State and Rivers State are two different entities.

NDPVF should stop using that moniker because the people of Akwa Ibom state where never a part of NDPVF. For fvcks sake, they are geographically not even in Niger Delta.

And even a simpleton can deduce that Ikwerre is listed under the Igbo ethnic group on the site you quoted. You shot yourself in the tongue!

This the time SE and SS should forget the past and form a strong union but dropping the name Biafra. The name puts fear in the life of average SS person.
I do not know the reason but it's a fact because I too have the phobia.

Most people in my region have realised the mistake both regions made in the past. We all have seen that Yorubas definitely have aligned with the north including Edo state.

The north will not be happy with this. The Union of both region is the only way we can survive being taken over by the north.

Av you read about the events of civil war or you just chose to rant.

Igbos have always wanted to take d SS along with them due to d their oil there & coastal access for their businesses.

D SS elders then rejected and the igbos had to kill them (as if it is a must).. tho. Some youths just like you couldn't see thru their lies

That made Nigerian troops swoop in on them..

you keep referring to events that's over 45yrs. Who the people in charge of the oil and the access to our waters now? It's Yorubas and the Hausas.

Let me tell you that in Ogoni Kingdom, everybody is singing the same of uniting with the igbos. It's most stupid that we are still referring to what happened during the civil war.

In other thread I mentioned Japan and US. After throwing a chemical bomb to destroy Japan, both countries have forgotten the past and are strong allies now.

I feel anybody that claims SS who is opposed to a stronger union with the SE is not from SS. I am not talking about Biafra here. SE/SS coming stronger as yorubas and the Hausas have chosen to be one.

The union of the whole South will not work. SS and SE are predominantly Christians. Yotubas have a lot of things common with the Hausas.

Oh!

I think I get you now.. But you should know SS and SE are different geo-political zones, just like SW, NE,North central etc..

The structure is different now.. And d idea of two out of like 6 forming association to be strong is WRONG..

Highest you'll complain about is political might, you can't see SW and NE call for a referendum..

If atal there should be any.. It should be national else it will only be viewed as treacherous.
