On the 31st of March 2016, I tried to get some cash using atm. Unfortunately I was debited without being paid.
I contacted my bank almost immediately and they confirmed the incidence.
Today is 1st of may but I have not been able to get my money back. I have tried all my bestbut it seems my effort is yielding nothing.
Meanwhile I have so far spent like 4k calling them.
In this harsh economy situation my 20k would have gone a long way to solving so many issues..

Please naira landers how do I get my money back?

Which bank do u use and which bank's ATM debited u?
What type of ATM card do u use (Verve, Mastercard, Visa?)?

I use diamond... Fidelity bank's atm ... Visa card

I hate Diamond Bank like kilode eeh !
They nearly caused me damages on the 21st of April ... Bullshit bank .

Can someone recommend another bank for me , else I'll start keeping everything @ home under my bed

Try stambic ibtc bank..... For the past one year they have not deducted any penny from my current account... Not even for alert..

For a "remote on us" transaction like yours, especially when it involves a Mastercard or Visa Card, it takes unnecessarily long time to resolve... Usually close to 3 weeks.

Solution 1: Do a formal complaint and send a copy to the complaint unit of CBN. OR
Solution 2: Go back to branch and make sure you start a fight in the manager's office... He'll take the case personal.

@ op.... sorry about d inconvenience...since your acct is a diamond acct and u used a fidelity machine,first thing on Tuesday go to the fidelity branch where it happened and fill the retracted cash form then also go to d nearest diamond bank and make a complaint...within 7working days u should get ur money back
