Another methodhuh There is nothing new here - this picture is not 'blog worthy'.

The quality of your blog is in the content of your post - does anyone notice the number of insinuations the blogger has posted? "This guy was caught this morning selling fuel inside jerry-cans", and "i knew dis guy must have collected urge money for each gerrry-cans before selling" - where is the investigation here? You want more gossipers ba?

For the individual who brought bigotry here, Arase the IGP hails from Edo state even though he was born in Delta state. God save us from mischief.

As shared by Emily.....

'Concerned by the untold suffering as well as the hazards emanating from the activities of black marketers, especially those who sell petroleum products inside plastic containers/jerry-cans, the Inspector-General of Police, IG Solomon Arase, has directed all Zonal Assistant Inspectors-General of Police and FCT/State Commands Commissioners of Police to arrest anybody found selling petrol and other petroleum products in such containers. This guy was caught this morning selling fuel inside jerry-cans, you can now see another method of selling fuel inside jerry-cans despite the warning, i knew dis guy must have collected urge money for each gerrry-cans before selling, Nigeria will never carry last when one way blocked another one open automatically. the progress of this country is in our hand be warn and obey the simple instruction. Thanks.'

Those jugs should be on the ground during filling to guard against static fire.

Femi otedola should do the needful!! That is forte oil jersy!!
op give us the location of that pic!
dont know what dis exact location might be. but forte oil has got to be d worst filling station in d world
the one I know of along oba akran road, ikeja, resumes operations as early as 3am and they sell to ONLY jerry cans before eventually starting to sell to cars from 6am. most times they dont even sell to cars, only jerry cans. I am not talking based on hearsay, I saw and experienced this first hand, when I got there by 5am to buy petrol thinking I was the early bird.

If you dont sell fuel inside jerry cans, how the heck would we power our generators again??

What kind of wicked and oppressive government has taking over this country?

There is no light, the weather is terribly hot and yet we cannot buy fuel in Jerry can to power our generators?

What kind of demonic leadership have we elected??

So you now have to go to the station with a generator to buy fuel everyday? What of those who don't have cars?? So on top the ridiculous price you'd pay for fuel, you'd now have to hire a vehicle to carry your generator to the fuel station. Tufiakwa. Excellent ingredients for a perfect revolution.

My conclusion::

This leadership might just be cursed and irredeemably so.
The one that forte oil does is inhuman, and its racketeering (they refuse to sell petrol, claiming scarcity, then provide a solution-black marketers). Pls how do you explain several danfo's coming in filled with only jerry cans to buy petrol? these filling stations are the one providing petrol for black marketers. Infact forte oil probably sells 60 percent of black market in lagos to d black marketers.

How do people get fuel for their generators?
Re: Selling Fuel In Jerry-cans Via Car Boot (pic) by Nobody: 3:35pm On May 02, 2016
It's so painful we are going through all this after all theIr failed promises, the sun is always out early even @7am U feel the heat, how are we suppose to cope with their stupid laws, I believe corruption era is better than the anti corruption whatever, why will one person give such order when there is no power supply.. We nigerians can impeach them because enough is enough!!!! Buhari has failed

The directive is "arrest black marketers selling on the road side" ,and not that pple shouldn't buy for their gen/Jerry can directly from the filling stations. The police command has issued a statement on this.
For those talking about their diesel gen set, sorry, you got it all wrong. AGO is deregulated.
My advise: pple should read and understand bfor misleading others ignorantly.

This looks more like one buying fuel in jerry-cans probably to use in running power generating sets at home. This info seems misleading as the IG had only instructed that hustlers who sell fuel in jerry-cans be arrested not people buying for domestic use.
The problem is our pple don't read. No wonder OBJ said"if u want to hide something from a Nigerian put it in a book".

Re: Selling Fuel In Jerry-cans Via Car Boot (pic) by khalids: 4:52pm On May 02, 2016
Sorry to say but this OP's display of low IQ and zombie sense is the reason why Nigeria is the way its is....
How can your govt issue a statement that anyone who buys fuel in jerrycans should be arrested, especially when you know that 70% of Nigerians provide their own electricity via generating sets due to the failure of govt, and these generating sets are mostly power by petrol. And the easiest means of getting petrol to this generating sets is via jerrycans.....

I have come to realize that this reluctance for filling stations to sell petrol in jerrycans to Nigerians is even bolstering the black market as most people who can no longer get from the filling stations are now forced to get it from the black market to power their generating sets...

Government always putting the cart before the horse......

Solomon Arase was born in Sapele Delta State on June 21, 1956 but hails from Oredo Local Government Council of Edo State. He enlisted in the Nigerian Police December 1, 1981.
