That is..these lecturers undertook contractual agreement to impart knowledge on students, grade them to ascertain the level of comprehension the students have achieved so far so as to make them better folks in the society. Instead, they go out there victimizing these students, making them 'sort' to get good grades which in turn leads to half baked graduates.
Something urgently needs to be done to revive our already decayed educational sector. I nearly broke down when I heard some folks undergoing masters programme saying they can't wait to be lecturers so as to collect 'sorting'. If we do not treat this issue now, I fear for the future. Meanwhile
