I did a freestyle on his mama track and it went perfectly well with one of my written love song, can I do my track on his beat without his permission or I have to seek for it. Am asking because have listened to many artist using someone else's beat e. g sade by adekunke gold and the likes.

I would have said it's a "cover" but you are doing an original song on it, innit? Just don't put it out commercially.
