Chief Ifeanyi Ubah has been elected chairman of the Anambra football association. In the election held yesterday,Ubah came out tops as he was elected with 24 votes to zero against Olisa Aniuno at a 26-member delegate congress in Awka. The former Vice Chairman of the board, Mr. Jude Obikwelu, was returned to his position with 24 votes to zero against his opponent, Obiefuna Akonam.

The President of the Nigerian Football Federation, through his representative, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, congratulated the Anambra FA for the successful election. See photos from the election below ;

he bosses over a bigger organization (Capital Oil and Gas), Anambra FA shouldn't be headache, more people like him are needed to revolutionize the business of sports in Nigeria. congrats to him !

After the Secret election they did.

How can the electoral body change the date of the election without informing some of the candidates?
The initial date of the Election was supposed to be today but due to unexplained reasons, it was conducted yesterday at a hotel in udoka Housing Estate Awka. without the knowledge of some of the candidates. MONEY HAS DEFINITELY CHANGED HANDS. THE WORK OF BROWN ENVELOP!!

24 votes to 0 out of 26 delegates? Did the other candidate abstain or he cast his vote for Uba? All this useless write ups sef.

election that wasn't conducted properly,you have to be in the state to know what is happening,it was not done on the date chosen,well ubah has the support of amaju,because of his money.
