I just acquired some plots of land in a remote area of Abeokuta,Ogun State. The acquisition of the land came as an opportunity, and being an entrepreneur who always take opportunities up and figure out how to handle them later; I took it up.

I initially thought of developing the plots to real properties and flip them or rent them out; but while I was thinking about which of the sides I should take, something came to my mind: why can't you try animal rearing, which you have been nursing in mind for long? I like getting myself involved in challenging businesses and activities. I have never involved myself in rearing animals, so I see it as a challenge to hit the ground.

To cut the long story short, I prefer to set up a cattle ranch with those plots of land. I've never done it before, so I need ideas, tips and advice from good and experienced nairalanders. I would also like to know how and where I could stock the ranch with animals ( calves and goats ).
