The Benue state government's S. A. Social Media, Philip Mbakuuv Ankyhquwa shared the story of a school principal who built a cattle ranch from scraps.

He wrote:

"Barely five months after the signing of the bill(anti-grazing), an indigene of the state Bro. Innocent Mayange: a civil servant and Principal, School For Exceptional Children, Aliade has keyed into the ranching policy of the state government by constructing a ranch using local materials as the best available option with the intention of doing more in due course.

Even though Bro. Mayange is battling with many challenges like improved grasses, water and power supply we think this is the best way to go. The Benue State Ministry of Agriculture can undertake a tour of the ranch with a view of encouraging other farmers to use the waste -to -wealth approach in constructing ranches across the state"

The state government should empower him with Benue wheelbarrow to ease transportation of cattle feed.

My opinion though.

Those Fulani herdsmen should go and learn from this... and stop moving their cattle about and fighting people in the name of grazing.

Philip Mbakuuv Ankyhquwa... pls someone help pronounce this surname.
The tiv have always been good at farming and always know what to do to improve on production. Kudos to this principal who isn't waiting for civil service salary that comes quarterly, keeping the Benue people languishing perpetually.

MadManTalking:

You sound like your username.
Those calves are young not hungry.
Its your type that makes thses fulani herdsmen not want to buy into the federal government ranching policy claiming they were bron nomads and will always remain nomads.

How many white people have you seen with a stick running after cows yet they consume beef more than we do.

Praise the man's effort rather than say shit about his livestock.

Your comment is not cool bro.
Not cool.
