I don't know who you are or what you are into to tell you the benefits of the budget in your life. Let me say you have no job and you don't want to work which is unlikely. Government intents to introduce N350 billion into the economy each quarter through investment in infrastructure. It means there'll be road construction, railways and other capital projects. The construction worker will get a job. He will buy more food, beer, buy meat, pay house rent. He will be able to dash you something from his income. No matter what he spends on, the beneficiaries will have more money to buy other things, including the garri seller, the beer seller, the prostitute, etc. Spending on electricity means that the artisan; welder, barber, hairdresser will spend less on petrol and have more money to spend on other things. That your friend who who would normally not bring out food in your presence will be more generous. What I suggest is that you read the 33 point economic policy direction earlier revealed by the government as well as the 34 priority focus projects recently announced through the Finance Minister; you'll find where to key-in and benefit from. Have a good mindset
Hmm, this man. you made a point.. but for how long? am tired of the present situation of life.... if you're close to Mr President, kindly tell him to be fast about it..

Its funny how people go about overhyping the padded and corrupt budget as if it passage would bring an end to the masses suffering. This is the first time in Nigeria's history that a budget has generated so much talks in the street.

The only good thing here is that they won't have any excuse to give for their failure.

Buhari is one of the biggest scam ever sold to Nigerians. By 2019 we go know how far.
So Uncle Jona no be scammer, wey distribute our national wealth. I think you are related to the clueless idiots dat bombed Chevron when they should have gone after their warlords that made money for themselves and didn't remember your likes.

ave this, they don't have that. if not for this administration that open the eye of most Nigerian to the significance of a good budget and how money should be appropriated to eliminate the most pressing needs of the people in the last administration majority of people never know when the budget is being passed not to talk of when it was signed. I hope and believe that the current budget would go a long way if the implementation is well control and monitor.

Bro Sorry for your pain, If you call this corrupt and padded budget then what will you call the past budget? Remember in the past 5yrs they always budget for the 2nd Niger bridge and where is the bridge today... Stop been aggressive on social media instead take your aggressive to your Hero in Otuoke.

People are just hopeful; this is normal. Actually the budget is supposed to have a multiplier effect on all sectors of the economy if things are rightly done. Procurement (supply and contracting) would commence and the trickle down effect means that business would make sales and more money would be in circulation.

However it is advisable that all young persons look for ways of bettering their life by engaging in meaningful enterprise, because no government would directly put money in your pocket. God bless you.

nobody is talking abt states budget, which in the common sense is suppose to be closest to the common man.
federal govt budget which is 6trillion naira for a population of 180million plus people. if u divide the budget sum over the population of nigeria, u will see at the end each citizen is entitled to 33,333naira from the budget which cant sustain a common man for 1yr.
now lets go to d budget, we hv 34 prioritised projects in d budget. 34 prioritised divide by 36states in nigeria it means some states will not benefit from it.
for instance calabar lagos rail project which they say is In d budget will pass thru some states n in those states it will pass thru few local communities. we all know how nigerians r, supremacy n this indigene stuff. if u r not frm there u caant go n work in that community once the job starts cos the leaders in those communities will submit names of their people to the construction firms.
what am trying to say is nigerians shud key into their state budget n pray for atleast 70percent implementation.
buhari budget will benefit his cronies, if u aint apc member then u will not benefit.
