Sir the rule of this business with Mike on CL, don't ask him to negotiate for what you are not ready for. Don't say "once he accept, I will pay" when you're not actually ready for it.
And I wonder why one you be offering $500 for an item he's not ready to pick up.

That aside, the brother asking to be put in Ozor's shoe; how about you also put yourself in Mikky's shoe. Having to drive miles to meet up with a seller on the request of the buyer. With confirmation words like "I'll transfer everything" and sort why wouldn't I move along.

Mikky still told you while he was there, that him and oyibo dey wait oooo and you said nothing. There is no point in the transaction maybe you realized your transfer is not working and said "oh Mikky abort the deal"

even when he's made the pick up and contacted you, you still said "gimme some minutes" c'mon bro, Mikky hasn't done evil trusting you to hold up your end of the deal and it wouldn't make any sense since you already told him to get on the way to reach there, collect Lapi from oyibo, look and turn back when it's not like you informed him immediately to not make the pick up coz you wouldn't be able to pay.

I would think Na just minor challenges with your otp which you will resolve later and post the funds so yeah, since I have the funds I'll pick it up so wouldn't have to start driving down again.

So truth be told, you lead Mikky on, and somewhat trying to back off way too late.

Even in business, we need humanity and I should say it's people and situations like this that make good people quite untrusting no more. It would be stern and harsh on you if you really needed that deal so bad and Mikky turned back coz of the challenges you were having with your otp and didn't make the pick up and you lost the deal.:. You will still come here and claim Mikky is too harsh and cite how many times you've done business with him.

So brother, I don't think trying to appeal on people's sympathy here is the best choice. Rather, you could ask or get some pictures of the laptop and advertise on here or anyway to see if you can get a buyer who pays Mikky his money and the whole stuff is resolved

[b]This case is an "open & shut" case, I'm sorry to say this but ozor1 you led mikky on, there's no court you take this to that would clear you off any responsibility because mikkyangel acted on your authorization which you gave indirectly at that point where you told him to offer $500 and you'll pay, you also went ahead to try to transfer and made similar moves which means you're already committed to the deal and also made moves to pay but circumstances prevented you and these circumstances aren't mikky's fault.

So it's quite unfortunate that you had some issues to settle which prevented you but you should have contacted mikky and negotiated a way to settle it buy apologizing for your inability to meet up with the payment and giving him permission to sell the item but you didn't. I don't blame mikky for not selling off the item because if he had done that then you may also come here crying blue murder if you were able to come up with the payment and he had also sold it off.

For once I will agree with u, this is an open case.ozor here is clearly at fault,all he had to do is try and talk to mikky maybe they can sell off the laptop here.
