2face Idibia has received an honorary degree from Igbinedion University. The 40-year-old singer was bestowed the honour courtesy of the Esama of Benin Kingdom and founder of the university, Gabriel Igbinedion. The event held at the institution's campus in Okada, Benin on Tuesday May 10, with his wife, Annie Idibia by his side.

That award was initially meant for a Member of Benin House of Assembly. Since the House members have taken to Mortal Kombat, they decided to give it to 2Face out of frustration. Congratulations to Tubaba though.
