The government is not much concerned about the communities but the oil, that is why successive government only react to pipeline bombings but fail to do so in the face of environmental degradation resulting from reckless exploration by the oil companies.

Bomb the gas line so that the whole Nigeria will be in darkness like the communities in the Niger delta creeks.

Abeg go ahead keep bombing the pipes until there is no more pipes in the delta region and all gasses and the chemicals will littered every where in the region. That will make your region to be a paradise to live in.
Remember, after the bombings there will be no drinkable water and the delta Eco system will be completely destroyed, then there will be no more living organism left in the creek because every where will be polluted. Believe me these guys are doing more harm to their Eco system and the inhabitants of the delta region.

If Igbo youths of IPOB or other agitators decides to team up with the ND militants, it will take a different dimension and the whole oil system will be grounded.
Imagine how many months it took the FG and the NBC with all their equipment to locate the Radio Biafra of Nnamdi Kanu after several lies and lies.
Remember what Akpabio said about kidnapping which was started by ND militants as a tool to seek for attention becoming a serious issue when Igbo boys stepped in and turned it into a commercial venture.

You must be a Yoruba; always appeasing and telling people who have been pushed to the wall how they hurt themselves when they react. Na so una take lose Ilorin to the Fulani and compare that to Abia and Enugu States who have formed an armed official vigilante after one attack from herdsmen while Benue Governor travels to Abuja everyday to beg FG to save their people from herdsmen who continues to pillage communities there as we speak.

The solution to this problem is diplomacy, let the militants stop the bombing and the FG must be wiling to negotiate with them on their grievances; not PMB threatening to crush them with brute force.

You fight for the interest of the Niger Delta by bombing facilities in the region, further chasing investors away from there.

Monies that should have been used in building new infrastructure will end up being used in rebuilding.

You put the lives of the people at risks and expose them to vulnerability.

Smart. Smart. Smart!

Stunted wizards!

You are not addressing rational people.

There are some children you can reason with, give advise and they will run with it, become successful and so on. Conversely, there are some children you cant reason with because they are too stupid, shortsighted, immature and so on. These last group only learn from avoidable painful mistakes. For instance, you might get a child who insists on wearing their trousers low so that they subsequently walk like penguins. You tell them that although you hate their slovenly carriage, you will tolerate it since it is the current fashion among youths. However, you implore them to take their study's seriously. But they respond by telling you that they want to be a Celebrity when they grow up. Your eyes does this shocked , but you say, 'fine you want to be a Celebrity, but study for a profession too jut in case you fail to become a Celebrity. 'I'm not going to fail', they tell you, 'I'm going to be a celebrity. JZee didn't study and now look at him, a millionaire'. By this time you're seething, but you bare it and try to make sense to them, through clenched teeth. You say for instance, 'look, son, the Music industry thrives by limiting the amount of stars out there. There are billions of people in the world, while there can never be too much Doctors, Accountants, scientist and so on, Musicianship is limited. Even very talented individuals may not make it if they don't meet certain stereotype'. 'No, no', the boy says, 'anyone can be a Celebrity, i could be discovered tomorrow'. You tell him, 'ok, let me see what you're doing to become a star'. The boy starts rapping some crap.

Anyhow the upshot is that no matter what you do or say, this type of youth will never understand because he is the type of youth that only learns from mistakes. The problem is, if you decide to leave them, confident that in future they will regret badly, the satisfaction you get will not make up for the enormity of the tragedy of their failure in life.

Many of these supposedly Niger Delta youths doing militancy are stupid people that you cannot reason with or help see the failure that lies ahead for their so-called Delta Republic . Unfortunately, I TOLD YOU SO is not an option. We cannot wait for them to regret the consequences of their stupid acts.

Stop trying to reason with these people on Niraland, or even in the creeks, they're too thick to understand. Nigeria has to empower the wider community, win the trust of the majority of Niger Deltans.

Nice write up.
The Kingsley Kuku they suggested, how many ND indigenes has he helped?
All the idiot does is to hold private org1es with foreign prostitutes and our local actresses, dolling out millions of naira as thank you parcels.
You vagabonds are destroying your land, not ours.
Your leaders are settled financially all the time to see to the well being of your people but they embezzle as usual. It has always been that way.
Instead of these animals to fish them out and waste them as much as they could and let serious minded youths take over and rebuild the region, they are complicating matters for themselves and the innocent people.
The clueless one didnt do shii for the average ND indigene during his 6year reign of impunity other than empowering those that wont deliver to the people!
Who no go see better water drink?
Who no go chop fish?
Who dey die from inhaling poisonous gas?
If you think your madness is affecting an average man in Osun or Anambra, you are deceiving yourselves.
Ride on my brothers!!!! Woes unto you and your supporters if you stop!

Every where in the world, if an armed group surrender their weapon. Amnesty is an option.

Nobody fights a group that does not care about death.

It is a waste of precious lives and resources by this i mean the people they will kill while you are forming boss for them.

I wonder how plenty people criticize without any sensible solution as an option.

"Ordinary"Ogun State is in the process of developing rail lines to support their industrialisation quest.

Ogun State is also a gateway state to the West African subregion, rich in hydrocarbons and agriculturally ahead of the ND.

Agro allied industries are keen to establish their presence along that corridor.

Whilst my brothers in the ND do what?

I sometimes wonder if my people really know to whom the harm is done.

Get with the program.

Industrialisation is the new oil.
