In a civilized world, his political career ought to have ended immediately. But then Nigeria is a hopeless jungle.
The life of the citizens carry very little weight.
I can't imagine an american politician directly or indirectly responsible for citizens death due to fanatism of his fan base and still becoming president.
It can never happen.The opposition would milk it for all its worth and start celebrating even before the elections.

I remember very well in Zabolo, a border town between Plateau and Kahuna states. I already got lynched, reason was I refused to allow voting into the night. I stopped immediately it was time and even allowed people on cue to finish voting only barring new cues.

A federal house member came in and even gingered the mob to act that I wanted to sell Buhari's vote to pdp. Out of the blue a military joint patrol team came around.

Soldier: Corper what's the problem?
Me: sir these people came late and want to vote worst of all is that this man you're seeing here had threatened to kill me.

Come see flogging.

That's how I survived to type this post today.
