Good! Your Original post gave the misleading impression that the eve story was your sole reason for leaving Christianity.

You're just one of those scoffers wanting to scoff. For if you sincerely wanted to learn, you wouldn't have made the heretical statement that the bible is the work of men. Or how will you be edify by the same work you've rubbished as that of men?

op, go and read the bible again, read out what God said to Eve, repeat it several times, so that it can sink in! then come back here and tell us what you read.

maybe it was originally written that animals will give birth in pain.. Before eve decides to join their league.. However I didn't see any pain being exhibited by animals when giving birth maybe just the cry of the push of their offspring from them.
