See what the stupid and foolish militants have caused nigeria, no light everywhere, the small one wey dem dey give us , the useless militants went on ahead and bombed the pipes, making it impossible to supply gas........ Now tell me who dey suffer am now? Is it the government or the masses? If u are fighting for a just course, do it in a way it affects only those u don't like ,instead of punishing everybody, some senseless nairalanders will come and support them for destroying what ur great grand children will inherit , na square one we go remain for this country, I have said this before and will say it again, if USA be like us, Hilary Clinton for don send militants to destroy their nuclear power plant just to get back at obama, let see if cancer won't kill all Americans by now |

God bless the progressive group of Niger Delta(Coast Guard of the Federation) headed by Commander Bibi Oduku. This is what the good people of Nigeria expect from you. The Avenger can not fight the people of Niger Delta. Because they are criminal that just want to enrich themselves overnight. We want a reasonable group that will take dialogue with the government as their weapon to liberate the Niger Delta if there is problem bothering them. God bless Nigeria God bless PMB God bless Niger Delta. |

Ozin:WHERE IN THE WORLD DOES BLOWING UP PIPELINES JUSTIFY INJUSTICE ARISING FROM OIL EXPLORATION. ONLY ISIS AND THE AMERICAN GOVT BLOWS UP OIL PIPELINES AND THAT IS A WAR SCENARIO. THAT SAID, THE STRUGGLE IS JUSTIFIED BUT THE MEANS TO ACTUALIZING THIS LONG TIME STRUGGLE IS ANTI-HUMANITY IN APPROACH. I AM SURE YOU WILL FIND IT HARD TO CONVINCE AN ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVIST TO SUPPORT THE STRUGGLE WITH THIS APPROACH. THE STRUGGLE IS ABOUT THE ECONOMIC INJUSTICE RESULTING FROM THE UNEQUAL SHARING OF OIL WEALTH. A LOT OF NIGERIANS KNOW THIS AND SHARE THE PAIN BUT RATHER THAN RESULT TO WANTON DESTRUCTION WHICH IN MY OWN OPINION WILL NOT ATTRACT SUPPORT FROM ANY QUATER, WE APPEAL THAT YOU ADOPT THE SENSIBLE DIALOGUE APPROACH. NOW THAT THE GOVT HAS YOUR ATTENTION, THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY WILL BE WILLING TO BE FULLY PART OF YOUR STRUGGLE ONLY IF IT IS CONSTRUCTIVE AND DEVOID OF VIOLENCE AND DESTRUCTION. CHOOSE THE RIGHT PATH TO A LASTING SOLUTION. GOOD LUCK TO YOU |

Vanguard seems to enjoy these sort of inciting reports. What's the essence of this report if not to dare and cajole the militants into blowing up more facilities? ![]() |

Blizzy9ja:I tire for nigerian govt.I dont think we are one in this country.Because they are from niger delta you can see the zeal with which the federal govt is using their might to give an order to crush them. But the reverse is the case when fulani herdsmen strikes any community. They call them foreigners instead of taking drastic action on them.I am still waiting to hear from the federal govt to give an order to crush fulani herdsmen.Lets stop using evil sense and mind in dealing with people because it may backfire. |

#OCCUPYINGMINDS: #NIGERDELTAMILITANTS...Every time a Crude Flow Station is Destroyed by Militants in the Niger Delta, The Environment is Damaged; Our Land is Polluted and Our Communities are subjected to more hardships...Let the Bombing Continue, who will lose?...The Government of PMB is dragging the Nigerian Economy away from Crude Oil; Lagos State has Joined the League of Oil Producing States and the Northern Part of Nigeria whose Reserves have been cynically suppressed over the years will begin production within the next months to two years. With time, We from the Niger Delta would have destroyed our Lands so much that future generation will curse us their Fathers and Mothers for killing their dreams. Let the Stupidity Continue my People...Don't stop the blowing up of pipelines. Everyone of us thinks that a Blown Pipeline is an attack on PMB and His Government of Change...Insanity on display I must say. Kano and Lagos are Leading the way in Tomatoes Paste Production and Tomatoes don dey scarce shebi? The Northern Landmass alone is about 4 times the entire Landmass of the SS and the SE; Agriculture will revolutionize the North within the next decade...We from the Niger Delta will use our Oil to soak Garri and we think we are punishing Nigeria? Think Again, but Kontinu. I have been reliably informed, that the More Pipeline we blow-up, the more the Resolve of this President to get the Nigerian Economy off oil...The More the Presidency blocks loopholes; The More the desire for alternative Revenue; The More the Nigerian People get pissed off by our Stupidity. The Future is Lost to the Greedy, Selfish Demons of Today. Blow Pipelines if you can, Nigeria is moving on. We have a President who is capable of making the hard decisions and willing to firmly sustain those hard choices. Blow Pipelines abeg. Let Nigeria Suffer and Let our land be wasted. Kontinu killing your own future by your own hands. WEEP NOT FOR THE NIGER DELTA!!! OUR ENEMIES ARE WITHIN!!! |

Nigerian media self. They can provoke some negativity and escalate bad occurrences. Niger Delta Avengers had gradually gone silent but with this stupid news now they can be provoke to resume bombing of oil facilities that affect all, not just the govt alone. I wonder why some media houses don't even think. You give attention to unnecessary elements and they will thereby feel more important. |

Sometimes, when I read some comments I wonder if logic is still a compulsory course in our universities. Take a cursory look at Nigerian's existence- how many grievances whether socio or economic have been resolved or addressed without the oppressed picking up arms? The people have learnt through decades that without a show of destruction, the government will not entertain your demands. Nigerian history provides that evidence. You forcefully allocate and plunder the resources and wealth of indigenes to outsiders for decades and then you cry out in righteous indignation when the people affected raise their voices in agony? Waste no time in your sterile litanies for Nigeria will learn a lesson repeated through world history. |

Even though the ir method of seeking justice is wrong, why wouldn't the federal government seize and reallocate those oil blocks in an equitable manner. I dnt know much about that region since i hv never been dia. I only hear stories but if wat dey wrote about d oil blocks is true, den the FG shuld hv a rethink. Just my 2 cents. |

Ozin:Bros you tried..... Just a few question, do you know all the people that where present for the auctioning of the oil blocks... How many Niger delta guys showed interest in acquiring oil blocks.. How many individuals or companies in Nigeria have the finance to purchase an oil blocks.... If you can provide this information then we will be able to determine if you where actually cheated |
