Be careful before spewing nonsense. ASUU strikes did not start today and it is on record this is the 1st since Rochas emerged Governor. They were owed only one month salary when they embarked on strike. The fight is all about free education. They want Okorocha to scrape free education and its not like the school is underfunded.

The truth is not the problem in this case. I want to talk from experience as someone who has seen it all here and there, and at different levels. A parastatal like HMB cannot be commercialized in any state. Theysy employ the most skilled labor and one of the highest paid. If you do, the transferable costs to patients will be so high as to drive them elsewhere. If that happens, government policies on health will not reach the populace. Foreign health-care aids will stop coming. Rather than privatization, the right thing ought to have been to sanitize the system and inject new blood into it. I hear that all key posts in Imo health system of Imo government is monopolized by people from one town, and that number 1 and 2 men at HMM were indeed class mates while more competent people are sidelined. If true such should be checked.
