The SE is largely very capitalistic and thrive in a survival of the fittest environment, while the SW and the north are largely socialistic and unfortunately have created such culture in Nigeria through the backward quota system. This country is not suitable for the igbo nation regardless of whatever peanuts they get already. This is gold. |

Some old Yoruba men still living with their parents stay on faceless forum all day long, posting and spamming threads with irrelevant pictures while their counterpart across the Niger is working hard all day long to better their life and building houses both at home and other part of Nigeria and some tout will sit down on social media wasting away their energy and life by posting houses built by hard working people. |

Please let that fool posting fake pictures of Lagos and tagging it Ijebu abi Ibadan. Only those who haven't been to the SW will believe all the trash. Ibadan, Ogun, Oshogbo, Ekiti and other dirty villages are there but he wont post them.Even in Lagos, let him post the pictures of areas like Bariga,Ikotun,Egbeda,Idimu,Ijegun,Mile2,ejigbo,Ajegunle etc. In Ogun State, the list is endless, places like Ota alone is enough. But the Mango Head Yorubas keep deceiving themselves |

In SE people are cool and go about their business without pock-nosing into activities of other Nigerians going about their normal business in search of their daily bread. |

omobaekiti:i dont expect to agree with what i will tell u now. I am not a member of IPOB, i was on ground during their protests at Onitsha. The guys had only flag and their songs and prayers. Those guys that burnt trailer were not IPOB members. FG/STATE GOVERNMENT planned and committed that evil. Remember they claimed that mosque was burnt down, but it was all lies. Obiano “rebuilt“ a burnt down mosque which no one saw the picture in less than 2weeks. Funny Obiano. If IPOB wants to burn trailer they wont go to burn isolated trailer. They would have burnt hundreds because where they re at the bridge head so many trailers were parked their with their drivers and boys eating and all that. Government needed to do what they did to tag IPOB members violent, so that they can go after them. |

Noneroone:''no omoonile, agbero, areaboys, alaye, boko haram, etc'' Wow this is complete truth and it makes the Igbo man unique. The traces of these vices you will see among a few miscreants were learnt from others especially the south west and north. Well said brother!!! Don't forget that to kill a human being (Igbu Ochu) in Igbo land is anathema. Whoever kills no mater his position is ostracized unless such a person committed suicide on his own. The Igbo believe in live and let live. This world view placed us as endangered species among evil minded neighbours who do not have any qualms killing and maiming and stealing. Neighbours whose culture understood and welcomed the autocracy of kingship; even accepted serfdom as a social status for some people. Privileges among the Igbo are won on the platter of individual contribution to the society. Our neighbours love this culture because it stands out as one of the most advanced stages of human development. If the Igbo were not paired with rest of Nigeria especially the Yoruba and Hausa / Fulani they would have achieved feats at similar level with rest of the developed world. I am very proud to be Igbo. |
| Re: South-East Is Safest Place To Live - UN by Nobody: 3:43am On May 14, 2016 |
YorubaHighness:While you keep this post let me ask you one question. Why was the south east the fastest growing economy in the entire world during the years prior to the civil war? In that era Yoruba and Hausa were not in a position as they are today to dictate the affairs of government where they dispense dividends of governance on the basis of bigotry and ethnicity. I know most detractors think that the destruction of Igbo is nearly complete and hence bring up lame excuses to justify the Igbo mans condition, ascribing it to internal Igbo social dynamics other than the programmed marginalization over the years from the wicked central government at Abuja. Igbos are the most progressive Africans. So that post you quoted and so much believe in is complete trash. |

jomonic:It's okay to continue beating your chest. Had Yorubaland had its own Republic, we'd have achieved MORE greatness. We turned Lagos to a Megacity and we're currently replicating the same blue print in Ogun and Akure. In Yorubaland alone, we've monopolized the industry hub and technology hub, now we shall do the same with agriculture in Oyo. We created a community that makes other Nigerians want to live amongst us and practice our culture. It is great to be Yoruba! We're destined for greatness. |
