The insensitivity of the government is showing signs of being the worst in Nigerian history. How else will one explain the Subsidy removal without corresponding policies to mitigate the already harsh conditions. It sucks being a Nigerian currently |

What do you expect??.. even when fuel was supposed to be sold at #87..some of the marketers sell above that.. despite the fact that these people have inflicted total hardship on average Nigerians.. they still won't take measures to ensure that no one is cheated.. God!!... unto your hands I commit ourselves! |

bobbiekrantz:Actually, the reason for the accrual in price by marketers was that PMS was dispensed or sold to them at #145 per liter at the depot so they had no other choice than to attach a #5 margin to source profit. This govt needs a Change! One of the attendants, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Saturday PUNCH they bought the product at N145 per litre from the depot and had to add the N5 margin to ensure profitability.. |

So you can see how wicked some Nigerians (Marketers/Depot operators) are then they will blame Buhari and APC. |
| Re: Marketers Sell Fuel Above N145 — The PUNCH by Nobody: 8:17am On May 14, 2016 |
otokx:Excuse me, is the depot not a govt quango? They are now at liberty to engage in graft activities because they are now fully aware that Buhari is mainly fighting his perceived enemies under the scheme and deception of fighting corruption. |

How is this news? Petrol was sold for over 150 Naira when there was subsidy. And now subsidy is no more, you expect it to fall drastically? Nigeria has a way of always defiling economics. |
| Re: Marketers Sell Fuel Above N145 — The PUNCH by greatiyk4u(m): 8:54am On May 14, 2016 |
TonyeBarcanista:I think the palliatives will come from the proceeds of the subsidy removal since HERO left us with "virtually" empty treasury. |
| Re: Marketers Sell Fuel Above N145 — The PUNCH by otokx(m): 9:14am On May 14, 2016 |
blueto:NNPC depots do not have issues of selling petrol at a high rate. Its the private depots, of which Capital, Oil and Gas owned by Ifeanyi Ubah is the largest. |

otokx:There is now an anticipation that other private depots will start functioning optimally. The major depots that are currently in the operation of dispensing 90% petrol are attribute to NNPC according to the Lai Mohammed Substantiation: “With the drastic fall in the price of crude oil, which is the nation’s main foreign exchange earner, there has also been a drastic reduction in the amount of foreign exchange available.http://dailypost.ng/2016/05/13/new-fuel-price-regime-inevitable-lai-mohammed/ . |
