TonyeBarcanista:I laff at you in Ijaw Itsekiri and small Urhobo. How many Niger Deltans work in these IOC? Or work in companies that service them? Mandela was once termed a terrorist, today he's celebrated worldwide. Ditto for the first Mozambican president. So your support for liberation is not necessary or needed. Remain a dog waiting for crumbs at your paymasters table |

Hengineer:my Brother u reason well but also reason on Buhari speech. A leader is not suppose to come out and speak evil to his own subject. I think that's why some people are scared to follow him but all the same let's pray for Nigeria ok. What we all need is wisdom. |

Alezy:fact is both are politicians no personal loss to them. They always take care of themselves, if massses now embark on actions detrimental to themselves in order to spite them, that is pathetic and sad |

To solve the issue of militancy, the government should take steps to solve issues in the ND. Firstly, nobody should own oil blocs...it should strictly be operating companies.
supported but no money should be paid any avengers. They should fight for development not selfish intetest |

100% Resource control is the answer to this melee. Revert to full control of whatever you produce, then Federal Taxes and production tax laws enacted to take care of FG interest. It is about time. |

Sheggy13:You are far from reality, I could remember how Dickson kick start this latest agitation when he said Bayelsa is receiving less than 2b whereas state who can't tell the colour of the crude is going ohm with more because of "population". How do u expect him to pay with just less than 2b or thereabout? |

I fear for Nigeria..... The future looks bleak and I can't see how Buhari can control or stop these avenger people. They are blowing up pipelines, destroying the only source of income Nigeria has.Nigeria is broke and in debt and our only source of income is threatened by the drop in global oil price in addition to the actions of the avengers. Boko boys are there doing their own in the north which has affected the supply of certain food stuff supplied in bulk from the north. Herdsmen are also doing their own havoc..... I fear for the future of Nigeria, the future of my kids and family. Only God can save this country. |

TonyeBarcanista:What will the coys relocate to do in Lagos? Was Lagos not there when these coys came to Nigeria? The companies will relocate out of Nigeria instead. But they will relocate back to ND again in the fullness of time. Looks like you don't understand what is going on? Think, think my brother. |

odikimi:That's how you allow these politicians lie to you and make up excuses for their gross mismanagement and incompetence. I do not have to be a Bayelsa indigene to know that at no time has Bayelsa received less than 2bn in monthly allocation, thanks to the power of the internet and social media. No one can concoct false stories again and we swallow hook, line and sinker. I put it to you that of all the 36 states in this country, aside Lagos and Kano (for obvious reasons), no other non-oil-producing state receives more allocation than Bayelsa. States like Anambra and those in the core north have paid up salaries of their civil servants to date, despite having more bigger civil service and population than Bayelsa. So stop making excuses for an incompetent governor of your home state. He is a thief. Simples. If you want links to validate my claims, I won't hesitate to avail you of them. |

| Re: Niger Delta Avengers: Exxon Shuts Down Oil Operations by Hengineer: 8:58am On May 15, 2016 |
DeltaOil:The last time I checked, and even from my elementary school social studies, Lagos is in yoruba land just as PH is in Igbo/Ijaw land and Enugu is in Igbo land and warri is in Urhobo/Itsekiri/Ijaw land. These facts remain constant irrespective of politics and since all these lands fall within Nigeria, any individual is free to live or work anywhere. I would be shocked if there is any sane adult who doesnt know this. So what exactly are you talking about? |
| Re: Niger Delta Avengers: Exxon Shuts Down Oil Operations by DeltaOil: 1:49pm On May 15, 2016 |
Hengineer:if that is so why did ur Oba threaten Igbo people? why did Fashola deport Igbo people? As somebody has pointed out, just know that https://i.imgur.com/WLmYH70.jpg?1 |
| Re: Niger Delta Avengers: Exxon Shuts Down Oil Operations by Hengineer: 3:08pm On May 15, 2016 |
DeltaOil:First of all, my political leaning has nothing to do with tribe... so I'm wondering why you are so sure the oba is 'my' oba. Secondly, the words of one man, one ex-policeman who may probably have been drunk cannot represent the opinion of a whole region. The only reason so many people took it seriously was just because you were desparately looking for a reason to propagate the needless tribal hate; so the moment the old man makes a disparaging statement, Hallelluia! You now have what to hold on to to justify your hate. Politics and tribe never go hand in hand, but the moment it starts, it can only degenerate. Lastly, fashola deported people of several tribes including igbos, yorubas, hausas and efiks/ibibios. Similarly, several other governors from other parts of nigeria within the same period also sent out destitute from their states, I clearly remember Peter Obi and akpabio also did. The attempt to single out fashola and also to single out the igbo tribe as victim and then blow it out of proportion was purely a political move by dubious politicians to create tribal disharmony in order to win votes.. The plot worked out very well though, fashola suddenly became automatic sworn enemy no 1 of igbos in lagos, anyone contesting against fashila was instantly regarded as a god, the tribal division has never been this bad since the last dispensation when dubious low IQ politicians chose to use tribe as a major political tool. We may never recover from the psychological damage. |

Fabulosdave01:Pls tell them to do it fast. We are not interested in their stay because we are not in control. We want to control our oil. We can no longer sit dawn and watch strangers take over what belongs to us and be insulting us. Never! If Nigeria will end because of ND oil, so be it. |
