I'm very happy for the way its coming up though. Roofer is locked and loaded.

will rain drops from your roof be in your compound or your neighbors compound?

I always try to be conservative with stuff.

I can use that water to wash cars and clean driveway instead of water from borehole

Wow! They are nice. DroppingsDroppings of rainfall do affect the lower part of our building and that's why most ppl choose to use granite or tiles below before painting above.

House construction is a marathon, slow and steady wins the race. I like what I have been seeing so far, you make sure each stages of the job are attended to properly

I love these roof drains, beautifully done. This method collecting water keeps the site very dry and the collected water can be use for wetting of flowers at least.

I will copy some of these ideas for my subsequent job

Sir the best way is to construct the roof truss before the gable wall. The reason is that the tie beam can rest on the wall below, you can even have a wall plate below. When you construct the gable before the roof truss, you will have to break something part of the gable which may not be too OK.

Egun, this is your personal house, I doubt if you are in a race. I quite like your pace and the way you are taking your time to consider everything and indeed open to changes from your intended plan provided they come within affordable budget. I like that. Well done bro!

I can't find the receipt but I think they were N10k each and are 1,000 liters. The regular cylindrical GP tanks are cheaper but these ones fit a purpose that the GP can't fit.

I'm still looking to buy more and I'm constantly looking for clean ones.

Be warned though, they have some fantastic warning stickers on them from previous use. I think they were used to bring in serious chemicals but I will never use this for drinking water.

Me likey, l have instructed my project supervisor to go and get this type to replace the GP tanks in my on-going project in lagos but that will be at the finishing stage because l am currently using the regular GP tanks, nice tank if you ask me, l like the burglary steel woven around it, makes it solid and beautiful
