The Nigeria Police have arrested a 25-year-old man for allegedly raping a four-year-old girl to death in Ganye Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

The suspect, identified only as Nenekenso, said to be related to the girl’s father, allegedly took the girl for a walk and had canal knowledge of her.

Adamawa State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Othman Abubakar, said the incident was under investigation.

A source indicated that the girl’s mother had once caught the accused inserting his finger in the girl’s private part but decided to keep it away from her husband after warning the man.
