Lai Mohammed is just plain wicked. No amount of smear campaign and lies will cover up his wickedness and greed. He needs to answer the following questions:

1. How many times has he 'borrowed' from NBC

2. He went to China with the president, how come he did not discuss the setting up of the top box manufacturing plant with the suppliers then (BTW, that deal is already in place before he became the minister).

3. Cleaners and security men are been owed 3-4 months salary no thanks to Lai Mohammed.

4. Which contractor will supply diesel @ 125/liter when diesel sell for 135/liter.

5. How many days has NBC being without power because they have been disconnected from the national grid because the minister has refused to release money to pay NEPA bill and they also cannot buy diesel to power their generators.

The dumbest explanation I have read in a long while. How bout he gives us a breakdown of the 13m he is requesting not start up useless publicity.

In my opinion, a five man trip to China will not cost more that 7m:
2m for flights and transportation
3m for accomodation and feeding
2m for miscellaneous expenses

Nigeria is broke oga. Cut your coat according to your size.

I wonder how much the presidency spend per travel and how much has been spent in total since the inception of this administration.

Economy flights cost less than 300k to China at the moment. The minister can get a business class tickets but the rest delegation should fly economy and it still doesn't amount to even 10m

It's not wrong make loan requests but if the masses are having to make sacrifices I believe public officials should do thesame.

Regarding if the purpose was approved. Nigeria is broke and why raise unnecessary expenditures. However, The NBC has no choice but to approve. Furthermore, if there was no memo leak we wouldn't have knowledge of such irresponsible spendings.

Let me further state that salaries have not been paid yet the president and other ministers deem it fit to embark on unnecessary trips round the world.

Do you know how much has been spent on trips by the presidency and ministers alone in less that one year of administration? The figures will comfortably take care of salaries.

The president discovered 23,000 ghost workers whom have been taken off the payroll which is a welcome development but have they recruited another 23,000 to take up those positions cos there is clearly a vacancy.

Has the president visited troubled spots in his own country?

Of what use is it painting the outside of your fence when the building is dilapidated and collapsing??
