There is a difference between when you are accused of dishonesty as a person and as a public official.

So once you become a public official you stop being a person ? Okay if I resign and after everything the law finds me innocent will my position be given back to me ? Bros learn to fight your battles squarely. The world hates successful people and will do everything to reduce you to nothing sometimes for no reason at all.
