Its Goajo agency, name of school is Western Sydney University. Do u think its cool mailing them?

I think you should mail the school, but it takes them at least 48 hours to respond to mails, that's if they even respond.

I applied to the same school mid April and got my offer 3 working days later, dunno why your application is taking so long. I applied through PFL though.

Very true there's no way dorm acct is debited for form A. Its ur naira account and for the record I asked my former colleague in db and they told me that there's no such thing like that. So pls clearify further.

Have u submitted what they asked?
I was going for undergrad so they asked for bank statement, reference letter, Personal statement and so on. Submitted that so they said I should pick MSC in Public health or Health science. Done that now I'm waiting for their reply.
JewelStone:

You mean they asked you to pick between 2 courses, different from the course you applied to, after you had submitted everything they asked for in the conditions? Why would they do that?

I guess it depends on the conditions they gave you. Mine was just to get Reference Letters from my previous and current employers, it wasn't much of a big deal.

One has to be careful with WSU though, cos their refund policy is stringent AF.

I'm so happy I saw this. You the only person that I know that's applying to WSU. The school is making me tired, really strict I must say.
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by cremeuc: 7:07am On May 17, 2016
WSU takes their time to respond. I'm sure that's why they haven't replied you.
My friend was meant to start Feb 27 and they were asking him for conditions on the 4th. The process is long
cremeuc:
What school did you apply to?
You could also send a mail to your school to know The update

Bros by Gods grace e go enter this time. That's a wise input from your banker. Anyhow sha lets home this fall true. In my own opinion, I think the banks are holding out of a lot of forex stuffs because of pending devaluation of naira which I think is inevitable. I bet treasury operations are skewing the balance sheet to ensure the bank rakes in profit from the anouncements more like what happened with the petroluem hike. I say this because it happened to my bro in 2009 when dollar jumped from 120 to 190 before it came to settle at 160. There is a lot that goes on behind these transactions that ordinary citizens know jack about. Lets hope the speculations draw to a conclusion sooner than later. Better still some miracle workers like Alvin and the chipmonk bankers might cast some hocus pocus on your account and you get your telex copy lol. Just joking.

Your case go pure no doubt. Just stay hopeful. By the way I forgot to mention SOL list has been updated. 9 occupations removed. Mining engineering, petroleum engineering, metallurgist, occupational health and safety adviser included in the list of the removed. Intending students please be advised.

Dude truth is I'll tell u one man to anoda, I gv my candid opinion abt ow I got my telex copy, if u wana belve or nt its up to u, I no dy to exchange wrds wit u bro because certainly no matter Wat u say it won't change d fact dat I hv paid my fees n I knw ow I did pay it shikena!!!!

Baba nobody here is exchanging words with you. We just dey wonder how u perform magic. Nobody cares about your telex copy or how u paid your fees. What we care about is you lying about how you obtained your dollar. I can show u the narration of the debit on my naira account when I won the bid from cbn. Can you show same If truly you no lie give us. Tell us the rate you got from cbn and show us the naration on your statement. We are patiently waiting.

Justwise Abeg advise this young man make him no come cause wahala for hia.

New Student Visa System in Australia for 2016

Australia has adopted a new student visa processing system that might make life a little easier for future students and higher education providers. The proposed new process, called, the simplified student visa framework (SSVF), will launch in July 2016 replacing the streamlined visa processing (SVP), which has been used since 2012.

The changes are great news for international students in that it will make the process of applying for a student visa simpler. In a nutshell, the changes will mean:

• A reduction in the number of student visa subclasses from eight to two; and
• the introduction of a simplified single immigration risk framework for all international students

The changes come as the international education sector recorded strong growth, providing an export boost to offset the slump in the resources industry. Figures provided by the Department for Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) show that intake of new students is at its highest level ever in the March quarter, 11.5 per cent above 2014.
Education Minister Christopher Pyne announced the new changes in June this year saying, “Australia is open for business and welcomes genuine and high quality international students who provide a much-needed boost to our economy, our local communities and jobs, and who boost our country-to-country relationships.”
“After coming to office the Government moved immediately to improve competitiveness and it is pleasing to see growth in international student enrolments in Australia has resumed

Australia’s student visa system is currently so complex that colleges attending education fairs end up spending half their time explaining the visa system instead of talking about the quality of education.

Under the new system, students applying to all education providers will be assessed for visa risk under a single framework. It will be based on the country they come from and the immigration compliance record of other students who have studied at that particular education provider.

A student’s financial and English language requirements will be based on the immigration profile of their country and of their chosen education provider.
Universities welcomed the new system. “The new simplified student visa process will boost equity and support an environment where high quality and low risk providers can prosper,” Universities Australia deputy CEO Anne-Marie Lansdown said.

Simplified student visa framework to benefit students and providers

English Australia has welcomed the announcement of a new simplified student visa framework (SSVF) that will make applying to study in Australia less complicated for students and will provide a level playing field for low risk education providers across all sectors.

The new framework was announced by Minister for Education and Training, the Hon Christopher Pyne MP, and Assistant Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash.
English Australia’s Executive Director, Sue Blundell, said the joint announcement was just one example of the new focus on a coordinated, cross-portfolio approach to ensuring the competitiveness of Australia’s international education industry, underpinned by the creation of a new Coordinating Council for International Education of which Ms Blundell is a member.
“Since the introduction of streamlined visa processing (SVP) in 2012, English Australia has continued to communicate our concerns regarding the negative impact on the English language sector and the fact that the SVP model was just not sustainable in the long term,” said Ms Blundell. “We are delighted that the Department has listened to our concerns and that the government has accepted the recommendations to establish a new framework which will make it easier for genuine students to apply for a visa to study with high quality, low risk education providers.”

The changes introduced by government will reduce the number of student visa subclasses from eight to two and introduce a simplified single immigration risk framework for all international students.
