It really looks more like reflux oh than colic imo. Coming out of the nose. I think it's best she presents at a hospital, and am wondering what the GA was at birth, and then any history suggestive of birth asphyxia.

The symptoms definitely sounds more like colic than reflux, except it's silent reflux

Spit ups are normal

With reflux my daughter used to PROJECTILE VOMIT after MOST meal and scream when it was time to eat.

So Why not take her to the hospital for proper diagnosis?

Nospermin and gripe water doesn't even work for colic talk less about reflux Stay away from those things

Infant gestacid is usually recommended for reflux sha - dint get it to buy here in Naija

Either ways if its colic (which I suspect strongly) it will be outgrown at roughly 3 months so hang in there. My daughter outgrew her reflux by her first birthday she is now 2 plus.
The ff tips will help either colic or reflux

1. Ensure she burped after every meal and she don't use to burp easy at all - sometimes it took as much as 30 mins to get a burp out of her

2. Hold her upright after every meal for at least 30 mins, don't be in a hurry to put her to lie down

3. Breastfeed and avoid bottles or use any ok colic bottles such as dr miracle

4. You the mum - Avoid dairy products, beans products and similar foods

5. Put her to nap / sleep on her tummy - supervised cuz of SIDS and slightly elevate her head by putting books under the leg of the cot or blanket under her head

All the best, both are extremely hard to deal with but remember it passes. I pray it's colic not reflux - only because colic passes faster. Email me if you need anything [/quote]

But lately i have been thinking cos Drs say when a child is teething the child shouldnt show all these our 'teething signs'. But is it possible for a child to teeth and not have any sign at all throughtout the entire teething period of life. Like high temperature or diarhoea or rashes or one thing or the other. Is it really possible? And when these things happen during the teething phase its really hard not to connect it to teething. Abeg enlighten me

. Yes it's possible..My son didn't have any symptoms at all.Pple were advising me to get Bonabebe and Co but I didnt.He has got about 7 tooth showing already and doing very fine.

Medicine cannot accurately describe each human being's body. All the things doctors say and even the Babycenter some people use as a bible, are more like guidelines for what to expect for the average child, rather than rules in stone. Baby E never showed a single symptom of teething except drooling and she would run a temperature once, at night (our bottle of Tylenol is there, full after 1 year. We are going to give it out to anyone who asks for it). But now she's cutting 4 teeth and the fever lasted 2 nights plus she got her first cold (at 10 months+).

Only give paracetamol if baby is running temperature.

D only tin dat entered ds's mouth b4 6months were just breastmilk n panda(4fever after immunization).. infact wen his tooth came out I didnt even knw cos his body temp was just normal n he cut d 2teeth @ 4months plus,pls dnt gv ny toothing wtv..

Or are your babies always this big.

i always have a big baby... my first child is 5kg...i wasnt diagonised with gestationgal dabietics at all...

A boy i guess. Sounds like my boy when he was arnd a month bt I dnt think we gv him anything. I do remember some people said he would b tall and big bcoz of streching. While some said it's his mother stress he breastfed on.
Make sure he slps on his sides and nt at his back. God bless ur family.

Give a baby drug when nothing is wrong with him/her.. hmm na wa. My dear it's not every advise u take oh. That's drug abuse. Some kids do not even show any sign for teething, u will just see teeth in dia mouth one day.

Give him the bread please. Ensure he drinks adequate water too.

Teething presents/affects babies differently you just have to go with the flow for your baby and make him as comfortable as you can during the period.

For the treatment of alefo You can try bathing the child with red acalypha leaves. Herbal practitioners would usually sell it. Google so you know what it is. Use for bathing not drinking oh.

This leaf is very effective. I didn't even come back to share my testimony. My LO had eela and we used it to bath her (still using it 2 weeks after), the stuff stopped spreading and actually cleared. The elewe omo (people who sell it in the market) gave a combo sha that had some barks in it too.

Hello mamas. Ayam a ftm mum. My daughter is oneweek3days. I noticed some kinda rash on her forehead like heatrash. No it has gotten to her neck n back . M getting scared. I showed the dr wen we went for check. She said it will clear, its common but m jus scared.
It doesn't disturb her and she isn't uncomfortable.
