Not too long cos can't remember when it did sef, was using my normal cream of sheabutter n coconut oil

Give him the bread please. Ensure he drinks adequate water too.

Teething presents/affects babies differently you just have to go with the flow for your baby and make him as comfortable as you can during the period.

Rofemiguwa, it will clear by itself. It's probably just hormonal from baby adjusting to so much stuff. if you're using Johnson's baby wash, stop and switch to Aveeno, Sebamed or Dove Pure and Sensitive

The reason that the WHO and doctors recommend 6 months of breastfeeding is because of all the nutrients and immunity your baby gets, in exactly the right portions he needs, from breastmilk. He cannot process other foods well, even if he takes it.

Hello mamas. Ayam a ftm mum. My daughter is oneweek3days. I noticed some kinda rash on her forehead like heatrash. No it has gotten to her neck n back . M getting scared. I showed the dr wen we went for check. She said it will clear, its common but m jus scared.
It doesn't disturb her and she isn't uncomfortable.

Starting from 4 months is quite okay, although 6 months is the ideal. Why don't you check out these two links to help explain better the different feeding Skills a baby acquires as it grows older plus how exactly you should feed them to avoid any issues.

If you can continue breastfeeding, then do.
Hope he's getting enough milk.
You will need to keep trying cos Some kids don't really like formula. Most of my kids refused formula so I just add the milk to their cereals.
Right now, am still battling with my DD to take formula, she manage to take just 120ml with enough trick, song and fight lol. I don't want to give up like I did with my older kids since I have her time, so you may keep trying.

Wait a bit more before you start golden morn. I find it a bit hard and better suited for older children / toddlers.

As.per his weight does he look malnourished or under weight to you ? Is his Dr concerned?

But lately i have been thinking cos Drs say when a child is teething the child shouldnt show all these our 'teething signs'. Is it really possible? And when these things happen during the teething phase its really hard not to connect it to teething. Abeg enlighten me

Most of those our "teething signs" are actually due to infections they pick up by putting dirty things in their mouths. I learnt from my first son and thus with my second, i was very careful of such. He had no symptoms except excessive saliva. We just woke up one morning and saw two teeth up. No diarrhea, no fever. He didn't get the flu till he started school.

Looks like furunculosis or bullous impetigo. Get altergo cream and apply twice daily till it leaves. If it is too much, you can add antibiotics to it too. I usually prefer ampiclox. You never mentioned the age so don't know d dose to give. And please never burst those lesions abegi. They spread fast.
Forgot to add that you should make sure no part of the skin is swelling up, hot and painful.

Totally agree. Couldn't have said it any better. Even wrote a post on this. Oh and you know you can tell a child's age from the number of teeth? Later guys. Have to start preparing the kids for school

Only twice lol, some babies actually poos after each feed. As far as the poo is normal and not watery.
