Please what is going on here nna?

Who is saying the truth and who is trying to confuse us?
Oga, you said you don't know how she managed to make a text appear to be from you... please how does that even sound to you yourself?

And please why are you commenting via your wife's account and not yours? Dont you think that alone is dubious and suspicious? I know organizations that will fire you in a heartbeat for sharing your passwords talkless of now sending mails using another person's account.

If anything, it's you that is the suspicious person here and I think both of you should have a rethink with the whole tarnishing of image going on here.

Firstly u claim this is your wife account, now you are saying you never asked for recharge card mr man you are not being truthful.

People can persuade you for business by calling uour phone number thats not enough reason u call them scammer.
You live in Oshogbo and come to lagos every weekend....lol I fear u.

The accused has not even made an effort to post pictures of the chat to support his purported claims but he is rather showing 2 phone numbers that could be from anyone.
Can he also show us the messages that transpired between them?

@Ellhayjay, why not show us evidence of the chats u had and the pix she sent to u. Its not enough for you to come here ranting words without evidence. One thing u must know is that a lot gives u out as the scammer like using someone else's account, claiming ignorance of ur Nos being used to ask for recharge card and most importantly calling her names and bringing in God. God was not involved when u started the chats with her. This is just a lame way of trying to exonerate yourself. She coming here b4 u to post as well is not an excuse. Its also not out of place for a biz person to call to try convince a customer of his product. U said she did not convince u enough, what else were u expecting her to do b4 u cried "wolf"? Mind u anyone could have helped her hold up d bottle so she could take a snapshot.

You are just blabbing.if your claim is truth, why can't you convince the whole nairalandeea here that you run a legit.business.am not the owner of this account, yea it belongs to my wife.is that an offence.is it a crime to run my wife nairaland page? The only pain I have is that you came here before I could get online. Is it possible I just see your number on nairaland and I called you to send card?I think nairalanders should think about that very well.I cannot just see your no here and pick my call to call you and request for card.you can check that no here if I have ever done that.I use this nairaland account on behalf of my wife in the health section.if you have not sent those empty bottles a male snapped on his palms to me,I wouldn't have raised the alarm but you are here saying nonsense.I would have reported you before you came here.the fear of reporting you brought you here first. I hand you over to God.I don't need to talk too much.that message you are showing here was not from me.you only did that to save your head before I come here to spill your beans.

Can you please be truthful... The OP has provided pictorial evidence of your conversations... Why can't you tell us why you claimed to be a female here whereas you're a male?

Is it hard to prove OP wrong? You asked for MTN card, why?

I need no Falana nor Fawehinmi to believe you're a scam... Forwarding your number to a DSS and/or EFCC friend.

People of Nairaland. Please learn from this. I am a new business just starting up with my Virgin coconut oil business. I posted an ad here that I needed vendors and agents to distribute my product and this guy from Oshogbo called that he needed a dozen. He sent his whatsapp number and we started chatting.

He requested for the size and I sent a picture of the bottle promising to send the original package once it's ready tomorrow morning.
We agreed on a price and he asked for the form of payment. I responded that I will send my account number when we get to that stage. He said he wanted payment on delivery and I told him I don't do payment on delivery outside Lagos. He said I should send my Lagos address that he will come himself to pick and I was happy to oblige him; I innocently sent my address.

The next thing I knew he started calling me all sorts of names, scammer, thief, Olosho (a prostitute) etc. He sent me a screen shot of my pictures calling me different names that he was going to spread my number all over social media that I'm a scammer. At this point, I was shocked and I explained to my husband who was there with me, he advised that I called him. I did and I asked if he knew me anywhere before now. I had not even requested any form of money, all I said was I will send the original image before they are dispatched to my other customers tomorrow.

The next thing I knew he sent a message asking that I send him a recharge card if I don't want to be exposed, that he's an SS. My people, please beware of this guy, his name is Adewunmi and these are his phone numbers and pictures. 0703 136 8684, 07061943752.

op, its not just on nairaland..i ran his number on facebook to see who he is. his name is adedeji adewumi. i saw him post on a group pretending to be the rector of ede poly, i also saw him post in another group that he's 27 and a single guy looking for a relationship (i thought he said he is married and he is just using his wife's account). finally i saw him post on another group as L.A Jay and a computer operator.
all this got me confused..the guy is really

attached are screenshots of what i found

Can you imagine this girl thinks she is wiser than me.So,you hurriedly came to nairaland to create a thread before I could create mine just because I don't have power on my phone.Definitely you are very dubious.Yes,I called you to know the kind of thing you produce if I could be managing it with what am managing here.I asked for a sample of what you produces and you sent me images of lacasera plastics.I was not contented with with your claim that you have been in this business for long. You should have posted the pictures you sent to me if nairalandera won't ask you is that all what you got that you are claiming you are into a business.Definitely you rushed down to nairaland to create a thread before me when I told you I will tell the whole world that you are a dubious fellow. In order not to beat you on that, you came here to spew gibberish.I will post the thread you created here that you need someone who will market your products and I thought if it is a good product,I can try my hand on it. THEN you should have convinced me. INSTEAD you sent me the pictures which were not enough to convince me.How will you send pictures like these without your company labels, the components that make up your coconut oil which you claimed cure diabetes, hypertension, scars and all those. Then,I told you that you must be a scammed and I am definitely going to report you. Please,it will be nice if you could post all the remaining chats of ours.Did you tell nairalanders how you called me to beg me that I should cover you up.I expected you to send me the images of the products itself. You called me on phone persuading to send money tomorrow so that you will ship the products to me because another batches will be leaving Lagos on Friday which made me realise that you are a thief.Did you tell them all these when you came here.I think I need to take things up with you with what you have just done because this is a complete defarmation of character.I have your pictures with me and I don't have anything to loose.Nairalandeea please ask her to send all our chats and also ask her to show her call history where she was begging me but I know she must have deleted everything.I told her am coming to nairalanders to report her because we still have gullible people who will send her money without confirming if what she has is a genuine business. The message she claim I sent to her,let her post it here for nairalanders to see the contents.I only want to tell her she is not wise.

The way these scammers talk and claim to be honest ehn, you go fear.
@OP has an identity to extent of sharing address, and you come here to say she is a scam?
Simple English they can't use well. And the way they become arrogant when they think they are invisible is the major thing that do vex me.
I like it when you challenge me with a valid ID, I will act dump until I get an ID, then you will know law exists in Nigeria.
So far you've got a number attached to your valid name, you will be caught on the long run.

I think Nairaland need to start verification service for business users. Full KYC (Image, Phone number verification,, Bank acc name match, Passport ID and Skype chat with Admin) to match your name.
But the management don't seem to care, its all about the cash.
Cos there is solution for this thing. Talk with people that developed the likes of Talk Africa then and the job will be done.
Create a post under programming section demanding for programmer to create this.
This thing won't take a month to implement. But they won't do it. Even after all the users contribute to the forum progress.

Seun and Lalasticlala, you guys should move this to FP and have a rethink on how business work here.
