of course they are cos only an evil man will kill a snake that is not venomous it doesn't strike unless threatened and its the only snake you can keep as pet and it swallows it prey but no record or it swallowing human though some pictures are online without the source being known and this very type is the ball python the one closest to being humans' friend.
