searchng4love: Sir, am not here to celebrate anything. Was just explaining how extremely difficult it is to make the First Class in LASU. I also cited the fact that there are some developments going on that will ensure LASU students will be well rewarded for their diligence. 1 Like |

Depreacherman: 25k.... Acceptance is 10k. The total for the first year is 35k. Although it depends on the course(Medicine,Engineering etc) of study. But u can't pay up to 50k in the First Year. 1 Like |

searchng4love: Apart from the fact that your story cannot be verified, is there a government University in Nigeria where there is no corruptuon? I can list hundreds of corruption cases from U.I, UNILAG,OAU etc. The Nigerian society is corrupt. Regardless, your story cannot be verified so it doesn't hold any water. You are a graduate of which school? 1 Like |

searchng4love: Well, I put it to you, that, NO 2'1 (full time programme) graduate from LASU will not stand firmly academically anywhere in the world. The purported friend of yours may have finished with just a pass, that's even if he exists in the first place. Again, you are a graduate of which University ? 1 Like 1 Share |

Am a graduate of lasu and am proud to be one. However, a lot of things still needs to be checked if the students will come out with good grades which is commensurate with the level of their hardwork. Most of the lecturers are 'killjoy' who are just bent on frustrating the brilliant students. Tho most of the lecturers are sound intellectually and teach excellently well, yet they refuse to award due marks when grading for reasons best known to them. Also the lack of hostel on campus is also a big challenge for the students. Imagine staying in a rowdy environment like okoko and planning to read to make a first class in that kind of environment. When I was in school, my best exams were the ones I wrote going from home school( thank God my I stay within Lagos). All that said, I think this graduating set are not that solid academically. They are much of the social type. I know this because I taught them while they were in 100l. We were always begging them to come and learn in order not to make the same mistakes some of our course mates made in the formative years. Imagine 2 sets being combined and just 7 first class among them. It's pathetic. 1 Like |
